POSITION SUMMARY Direct#all activities that contribute to the operational, clinical and business functions of a large clinic site. Assures compliance with regulatory agencies.

As part of the leadership team, assures the clinic provides high quality patient care with exceptional service in a cost effective manner by monitoring daily operations, assisting in developmental activities,#leading financial planning, budgeting and monitoring, and employee relations. Liaison to physician groups practicing at clinic site; which may include administrative and leadership support functions. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience:

A four year degree in healthcare administration, business or finance or related field (or equivalent) and 5-10 years of Healthcare Clinic Leadership experience.# Master#s degree preferred. License/Certificates: N/A Special Skills and Aptitudes:

Demonstrates knowledge of an can apply the principles of administration in the changing health care environment. Effective interpersonal relationship skills including good listening and communication skills (both verbal and written). Ability to adapt resources to meet the needs of the situation. Exercises good judgement; maintains flexibility, creativity and insight in problem solving.

Demonstrates leadership qualities and executive and organizational abilities. Adjusts to stressful situations with confidence and good judgment. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise, orient, train, evaluate and counsel department employees to improve their job performance and maintain high standards of care.

Establish program development objectives and conduct ongoing analysis of effectiveness. Identify staffing requirements, schedules and vacation coverage to ensure adequate staff attends to patient needs. Communicate and coordinate department function with other services in a constructive manner that helps build team rapport and effectiveness.

Communicate effectively with senior leadership regarding department programs, goals, objectives, problems and successes. Communicate effectively with the public and with medical personnel both internally and outside CRMC. Participate in utilization review and quality assurance. Responsible for revenue and expense controls to meet budgetary requirements.

VIEW JOBS 11/7/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-02-05T00:00 POSITION SUMMARY The Clinic LPN/CMA is responsible for the overall coordination of a physician#s daily clinic.# This includes patient assessment and education, scheduling of tests and procedures, appropriate documentation, and serving as the communication link between the patient, the physician and other clinic departments or agencies involved in the patient#s care. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Education and Experience: One year of clinic nursing experience. License/Certificates: Current LPN license for State of Minnesota or current CMA certification required. Current#American Heart#Association BLS certification required.# Special Skills and Aptitudes: Effective listening, observational, reporting, documentation and communication skills. Exemplifies self-direction with good organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills Ability to work under stressful situations Ability to adapt resources to the needs of the situation ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES Direct Patient Care Room and assess patients, anticipating appropriate preparation of the patient for the physician visit. Assist the physician with procedures and treatments as necessary. Prepare and administer medications or vaccines according to standard procedure and as ordered by the physician or standing order. Operate correctly a variety of pieces of medical equipment including, but not limited to EKG, tympanometer, suction, oxygen, spirometer, audiometer, nebulizer, wheelchair, and exam tables. Assist other LPN/CMA staff as needed. Perform or assist with dressing application and removals as ordered. Instruct patient appropriately regarding prescribed therapies and preparations for ordered procedures. Indirect Patient Care Document vitals, treatments, interventions, medications, and essentials notes in the patient#s medical record according to clinic policy. Stock supplies as needed in patient exam rooms and common storage areas. Assist physician and reception/scheduling staff in maintaining an accurate daily schedule providing efficient patient flow. Assist in coordinating lab tests, x-rays, consults, surgeries, hospital admission or other appointments as ordered by physician, seeing that all necessary authorizations are complete. Call or fax#prescription refills as ordered by physician or standing order and document according to policy. Facilitate communication between patient and physician and provide general clinic information in a professional manner. Manage voicemail. Identify and follow appropriate procedures for emergency calls. Problem solves and secures alternate solutions as necessary. Utilize excellent customer service skills in order to positively impact the experience of care for our patients, their families and other service partners. Perform other duties as assigned.
