Albizu University is seeking qualified applicants for the Clinic Director position at the Goodman Psychological Services Center. The clinic serves as the training site for doctoral students enrolled in the clinical psychology program and an APA Internship site. The Clinic Director will serve as a member of the core faculty.

General Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the leadership and administration of a mental health training clinic.

• Direct the clinic's operations, ensuring compliance with APA Standards of Accreditation for Health Service Psychology and Accreditation Operating Procedures and adherence to the APA Code of Ethics.

• Ensure the provision of quality services in face-to-face and telehealth modalities in compliance with HIPAA rules and regulations.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Serve as the clinic administrator.

• Develop comprehensive services of therapy, evaluation, and treatment.

• Responsible for providing clinical supervision and monitoring student learning outcomes of clinical psychology students, including the review of assignments and management of cases.

• Direct supervision of the APA Internship.

• Establish procedures to use proximal and distal data for continuous unit improvement.

• Collaborate with the master's program in psychology and speech-language pathology to place practicum students at the clinic.

• Hire, train, onboard, and evaluate clinical supervisors and staff.

• Effective development of referral sources.

• Conduct effective outreach to increase the number of clients and contracts for services.

• Budget management to ensure the profitability of the clinical operation.

• Establishes meaningful relationships with other key representative officers of local mental health agencies or other relevant agencies.

• Establish an effective partnership with the Director of Clinical Training and Practicum Coordinator of the PsyD in Clinical Psychology academic program and with the Directors of Clinical Training and Clinic Directors at the San Juan Campus and the Mayaguez University Center.

• Submit required internal and external reports and forms in a timely and accurate manner.

• Reports to the Academic Program Director.

• Other duties as assigned by the Academic Program Director.

Minimal Qualifications:

• Clinical Psychology Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree.

• Licensed or licensure eligible in the State of Florida.

• Has experience working in the public, private, and non-profit sectors.

• Previous experience as senior administrator of a public or private entity.
