The Health Clinic Manager will supervise the day-to-day activities of the clinic by handling both clinical and administrative tasks.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Strong knowledge of HIPPA regulations and compliance requirements.
Ensure compliance with HIPPA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
Perform patient insurance and benefits verifications
Manage claims coding and submission. Manage and track claim denials.
Post payments and enter explanation of benefits.
Ensure accurate and consistent financial collections and reporting of individual and insurance payments.
Oversee financial management, including accounts receivable and payable
Develop and implement office policies and procedures to improve efficiency
Manage staff performance including supervising, coaching, corrective action, interviewing, hiring and training new staff
Coordinate staff schedules to ensure smooth patient flow and optimize patient experience
Ensure the clinic is following city, state and federal healthcare regulations
Proficient in administrative tasks, such as updating patient/student records
Strong interpersonal skills for talking to patients, interns, providers and insurance companies
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize workload
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to multi-task and manage time well in a fast-paced environment
Meticulous attention to detail
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Strong leadership skills with the capacity to motivate and inspire a team.
Knowledge of medical terminology
Performs other job duties as assigned
