Clinical Coordinator I 2335492
The Clinical Research Coordinator assists in thedaily activities of clinical research studies, obtains informed consent;collects, maintains and organizes study information. Assists in preparing grantapplications and documents (for e.g., Institutional Review Board, Grants and ContractsOffice).
Collects and records study data. Inputs allinformation into database
Obtains informed consent under minimalsupervision of the investigator(s) and educates participants regarding studyrequirements
Assists in the activities related to clinicalresearch studies including but not limited to: answering phone calls, screeningparticipants for eligibility, registering subjects with sponsoring agency,administering lifestyle questionnaires
Assists in preparing grant applications, IRB/GCOfor submission and filings
Maintains source documents and subject files inaccordance with hospital procedures. Ensures accurate and complete compilationof subject data through chart reviews
Secures, delivers and ships clinical specimens asrequired by the protocol
Prepares for monitoring visits
Performs other related duties
Experience: 1-2 years prior research experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
