Title: Climate Change Resilience Project Coordinator:
Description:
PPS has received a grant to engage in community-based projects around climate change resilience (https://www.nj.gov/education/grants/opportunities/2023/23-WB01-G02.shtml) and is seeking a grant project coordinator. Duties include:
Developing and maintaining a grant project electronic resources hub
Developing a project timeline/calendar that includes deadlines, meetings with stakeholders, PD with college partners, events and other related events.
Develop communication materials such as flyers, registration forms
Work in collaboration with the district communication officer for project public relations
Work collaboratively with administration, teachers, community partners and food services as well as PPS families
Manage the project timeline to keep all parties on track for project completion
Attend events, take pictures and maintain records for the purpose of grant reporting
Manage all other project related issues as they occur
Certification: Appropriate certification required; experience with ELL, Immigrant students and their families as well as outreach/advocacy work preferred
Salary: A bank of up to 100 hours beginning July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025 at $56.44/hr.
