The Training Specialist will plan, coordinate, schedule and present training on Dealertrack RTS products using various delivery mechanisms, instructor lead webinars, One on One online instruction, and developing recorded instructional guides for self-directed training by clients. The training team member must be able to communicate technical information to users in non-technical, clear terms, develop, produce and distribute training materials on-line and in written form; develop, evaluate, and assemble training classes, training materials, and handouts; provide follow-up support and further training assessment to users. Perform monthly statistical analysis on clients' utilization of Dealertrack services. Develop a plan of action for accounts requiring additional support, training consultation services, Consult with account personnel and recommend process changes that will enable client to maintain compliance with state DMV rules and regulations.

Remote position-Covering Roanoke Virginia Territory

  • Perform initial onsite and web based product training for customers on the use of the Online Registration System (OLRS), and the RegUSA web portal.

  • Present additional product trainings for existing users in order to drive product utilization.

  • Create eLearning training content.

  • Administrative tasks; recording activities & maintaining current status of installation assignments.

  • Maintain knowledge of standard operation procedures and company practices. Conduct follow-up product training for customers as required.

  • Perform follow-up calls to customers.

  • Assess clients current workflow and develop process change plans in order to incorporate Dealertrack applications into clients current operating process.

  • Work with Business Development Teams to help identify new product development.

  • High School Diploma or GED Required

  • Bachelors Degree Preferred Prefer Degree in Training and Development or Business Management

  • Technical training specialist experience

  • 3 years of experience in related field Required, prefer Automotive Retail, State DMV or Technical Training

  • Experience delivering training using remote tools Required

  • Experience with Wikis, and Learning Management Systems and Knowledge base system preferred

  • Excellent writing skills, technical writing experience preferred.

  • Ability to independently manage projects with a proven track record of managing multiple deliverables.

  • Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Salesforce, SharePoint

  • Some computer setup and assembly experience preferred but not necessary

  • Ability to learn and educate users on DMV business rules and regulation and to maintain current with state SOP changes, mandates and legislation.

  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel. Extensive driving is required. Trips may include overnight stays and air travel.

  • Automotive retail experience, F&I or title and registration experience preferred

  • Must have the proven ability to write and chart process/workflow, reports, manuals and write papers that explain technical ideas in simple language.

  • Travel Required- 75%

The Program Supervisor shall directly supervise the Overnight Support Counselor. Serve as a positive role model for residents to observe and learn socially effective values, attitudes and behaviors. Contribute to the formulation and implementation of the resident transitional living plan. Assist with life skills learning, transportation, and administrative duties. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Direct Care * Interact with all residents in accordance with the program expectations and transitional living plan. * Maintain appropriate relationships which do not allow self-disclosure of personal or social information to residents. * Terminate resident/staff relationship upon residents' discharge. * Provide transportation, accompany, and directly supervise residents on outings, activities and appointments in the community. * Contact the appropriate authorities, Police, CSB Crisis, to protect resident from harming self or others. * Assist LSC in the facilitation of resident community meetings. * Administer first aid to resident in response to minor medical problems. * Notify Life Skills Coach and/or Program Supervisor of any significant resident medical complaint. * Notify Life Skills Coach and Program Supervisor of any unusual events, accidents, medical problems, etc. * Guide residents in personal hygiene techniques and the proper care of their condominiums. * Demonstrate initiative, creativity and flexibility in organizing and conducting recreational activities and outings as developed by the Program Supervisor. * Report any property damage or maintenance concern to the Program Supervisor * Exercise fair, firm and consistent use of behavioral system. * Supervise the administration of medications as appropriate. * Check each condominium to ensure residents are in by curfew, working, or on an approved pass. Document all incidences of missed curfew, failure to report to work and absence without leave (AWOL) in communication log and contact the Life Skills Coach or Program Supervisor. * Record accurate and complete information in the resident chart pertaining to: resident behavior, critical incidents, AWOLs, restrictions, unusual sleep patterns, etc. * Assist residents in meal preparation steps. * Guide and instruct residents in proper housekeeping and laundry procedures; review completion of weekly chores. * Use good interpersonal communication skills to gain resident cooperation and resolve resident conflicts. Environment * Adhere to safety and security guidelines. * Assist in proper use and storage of supplies, equipment, etc. * Maintain facility in clean, safe condition. * Report potential hazards to supervisor. General * Complete all shift responsibilities. * Adhere to regular daily staff procedures as posted and/or distributed. * Perform any other duty which may be requested but not included herein.
