Learns concepts related to the support and training of end-users on the Lightspeed Dealer Management System; specifically supporting the Accounting Module over the phone.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Learns principles and practices related to managing customer expectations and maintaining customer satisfaction

  • Handles customer calls and activities

  • Addresses hardware/software problems; troubleshoots and resolves to customer's satisfaction

  • Documents customer interactions in detail using call tracking software

  • Provides written documentation and feedback to support internal knowledge base

  • Assists in special projects as detailed by department manager

  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Skills & Abilities:

  • Proven oral, written and interpersonal communication skills

  • Demonstrated telephone etiquette with proper use of the English language

  • Effective in communicating directily with customers

  • Demonstrated organizational and logical problem solving skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and focus on process improvements

Responsibilities * The focus of this position is to systems administration for client management, technical leadership, advanced troubleshooting and problem solving, as well as end user technical support for Huntsman Cancer users in a fast paced, demanding team-based environment with both clinical and research contexts. * Systems involved include, but are not limited to: Windows Server, Windows clients, Mac clients, both organizationally owned and individually owned ("Bring Your Own Device" /BYOD) laptops, tablets, cell phones and end user home systems (supported remotely). * Work with other Systems Administrators and Architects in managing, planning, and installing new software releases and system upgrades for operating systems for client management systems. * Interact extensively with Support Core (Help Desk) team with training, problem escalations, etc. * Manages systems administration projects by developing test and implementation plans along with project timelines. * Adhere to and help implement relevant IT Security policies and architectures for areas where need is identified and defined. * Follow up and coordinate with customers, internal staff, and vendors as required. * Provide expert consultation for departmental projects, initiatives, and incidents. * Provide direction, advice, and recommendations specific to customer requirements. * Initiate and participate in business recovery and system fault tolerance strategies * Monitor and adjust system performance and capacity. * Document equipment configurations, procedures, and guidelines in order to provide accurate information related to IT services. * Perform regular security monitoring and auditing on system resources to identify possible security issues. Minimum Qualifications Requires a bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalency with at least 2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Preferences * Extensive communication skills, both verbal and written, in dealing with end users and other members of the Huntsman Cancer Computing and Technology Group. * Customers include institute leadership, physicians, research scientists, researchers, healthcare professionals, and administrative staff. This support requires a high level of interpersonal skill and the ability to work within a varied, demanding environment. * Windows Systems Administration, Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager, Microsoft Intune, familiarity with Office 365 administration, Azure Active Directory connector, etc. * Work within existing technical architectures and with other teammates to implement solutions within existing standards, includingHIPAA, Hi-tech, and related organizational IT architecture and security policies.
