What does a Client Support Representative do?

You will work with very experienced, respected and knowledgeable people in the financial industry; responsible for supporting our clients (Financial Institutions) who utilize Fiserv's "leading edge" banking products. Day to day you will provide application support by consulting with our clients on the functionality and optimal use of the products. You will provide customer service support for Financial Crimes and Risk Management (FCRM) Products. You will meet or exceed targeted goal of client happiness. Effectively resolve customer issues. You will assist Product Development with Quality assurance of software changes.

As a Client Support Representative, you can look forward to:

  • Providing first point of client contact through phone or web support. Researching and problem-solves to settle resolutions to reported problems. Build and maintain high-level client satisfaction that is measured via the annual survey. Goals for call responsiveness are set for the Division and apply to this function.

  • Documenting all call related activity for case tracking to ensure proper handling and follow up.

  • Project team participation and coordination. Communicating with clients and providing them with status updates on current projects.

  • Evaluate a specific application system study to resolve all the client workflows, documents, and procedures so the training can be customized to their needs.

  • Testing improved and changed software programs.

  • Recreating and researching client issues for internal software developers.

  • Provide presentations and demonstrations to clients on an as needed basis.

  • Provide onsite evaluation of client procedures and Fiserv application usage and make recommendations for improved efficiency in the banks daily operation.

  • Developing and maintaining an understanding of Fiserv products and staying abreast of meaningful industry advancements.

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Two years' of experience in the financial industry or customer service as a personal banker, or deposit servicing, customer information, general ledger, or operations.

  • One year in a customer service and/or customer facing role.

  • Experience in a banking/financial services environment.

Preferred qualifications for consideration:

  • 4-year college degree.

  • Experience in an operational area of a financial institution is highly desirable.

PRIMARY PURPOSE: To be oriented and trained as new industry professional with the ability to analyze workers compensation, general liability or disability claims and determine benefits due. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES * Attendance and completion of designated classroom claims professional training program. * Performs on-the-job training activities including: a. Adjusting medical only and minor lost-time workers compensation claims under close supervision. b. Adjusting low and mid-level liability and/or physical damage claims under close supervision. c. Processing disability claims of minimal disability duration under close supervision. d. Documenting claims files and properly coding claim activity. e. Communicating claim action/processing with claimant and client. f. Supporting other claims examiners and claims supervisors with larger or more complex claims as assigned. * Participates in rotational assignments to provide temporary support for office needs. ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS and RESPONSIBILITIES * Performs other duties as assigned. * Supports the organization's quality program(s). QUALIFICATIONS Education & Licensing Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required. Experience No experience required. Prior claims experience preferred.
