Position Summary:

The Client Support Associate is responsible for clients who are using our digital platform by addressing inquiries and guiding them through policy-related matters throughout the policy lifecycle. This role resolves customer concern promptly, gathers feedback, and collaborates with internal teams. This position will work with production teams, back-office teams, and external customers. The Client Support Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service to external clients. They maintain organized client records, identify process improvement opportunities, and educate clients on insurance details.

What will your job entail?

Responsibilities:

  • Work as part of a team to support external clients by answer calls, chats and emails in an accurate and timely manner.

  • Assists clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering information related to insurance products and services.

  • Collaborates with underwriting, product, and technical teams to provide comprehensive support to clients, particularly during policy issuance, and post issuance processes.

  • Maintains accurate and organized client records, ensuring all interactions and transactions are properly documented in the company's systems.

  • Work with technical teams and clients to detect and troubleshoot software problems.

  • Gathers client feedback on services, products, and overall satisfaction to identify areas for improvement and enhance the client experience.

  • Stays informed about insurance products, industry trends and regulations to enhance knowledge and better service the clients.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 year of work experience in Customer Service related role. Relevant Insurance Industry experience preferred.

Education:

  • Bachelor's degree required; Business Administration, Customer Service, Business Operations preferred. Any other related discipline or commensurate work experience considered.

Skills:

  • Ability to take initiative, guide, and influence others towards goals.

  • Ability to learn new applications and system features quickly.

  • Ability to manage workload with minimal supervision.

  • Experience with ConceptOne (C1) and any Policy Administration systems a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office including, but not limited to Outlook, Word, Excel.

  • Experience with SQL and back-end system management a plus (preferred)

Licenses & Certifications:

  • Prescribed: NA
  • Preferred: Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR)

The target salary range for this position is $62,000.00 - $81,375.00 annually.

The wage range for this role considers many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure and certification, business needs, and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. Full-time roles are eligible for bonuses and benefits.
