POSITION SUMMARY:

At Talbots, we help our customers look and feel their best. The Talbots Client Specialist - Key Holder (CSKH) is responsible for creating and fostering a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences. CSs are responsible for building enduring relationships with both new & existing customers and to consistently exceed company productivity standards. As needed, the CSKH has responsibility for leading/supervising others on occasion and opening the store for business and/or closing the store for the night.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Sales and Service:

  • Seek to understand customer needs & wants with curiosity and confidence through intentional conversation.

  • Use company resources to reinforce the brand experience and facilitate/build strong, enduring relationships in order to achieve productivity and sales goals.

  • Share current products and fashion trends with customers to appropriately wardrobe, inspire and build trust.

Business Acumen:

  • Stay abreast of the business and competitive landscape, fashion trends and key business drivers to strategically identify opportunities that will maximize sales and ensure financial goals are achieved.

  • Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer and business.

  • Protect company assets and maintain a safe work environment.

  • Follow all company policies and procedures as well as local, state, and federal employment laws.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong sales experience preferred with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards.

  • Ability to work at least (20) hours per week.

  • An essential function of the job is the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

  • An essential function of the job is the ability to move about in a store including standing, walking,

  • kneeling, stooping, climbing ladders, using stairs, carrying, bending, stretching, twisting, or reaching out with the body, arms, or legs, pulling and lifting objects up to 40 pounds. Sometimes these movements are made quickly and repeatedly.

  • An essential function of the job is the ability to navigate computer/handheld systems with intermediate computer and keyboarding skills.

  • Able to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment.

  • High school degree required.

VIEW JOBS 4/4/2020 12:00:00 AM 2020-07-03T00:00 Position Summary Internal Audit Specialists will perform quarterly SOX internal audits to assist with independently evaluating the Banks key financial reporting internal controls, processes, policies, and procedures. They evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness, and efficiency of the Banks practices as well as adherence to Bank policies and procedures and industry standards. In addition, they may be tasked with leading special projects and serving as a technical resource to others in the department or Bank. Internal Audit Specialists will be part of the Internal Audit Department of the Risk Management Division where enthusiasm, teamwork, and collaboration come first, and where the primary focus is on helping management protect the Bank against undue risk exposure. Essential Job Functions include but are not limited to: * Plan and conduct quarterly SOX internal audits to evaluate the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of internal controls as well as adherence to Bank policies and procedures. This will include gathering data through a variety of methods including interviews, financial research, downloads, etc. and documenting relevant information to support the internal audit conclusions and recommendations. Coordinate with business line managers to obtain quarterly control attestations. * Research and understand internal auditing standards, COSO, GAAP, and risk assessment practices as well as laws, banking industry standards, and Bank policies and procedures. * Identify and recommend solutions and/or new procedures to strengthen financial reporting controls to mitigate loss exposure. * Collaborate with Bank management to identify practical corrective actions to address recommendations, evaluate managements action plans for sufficiency, and maintain a system to monitor the disposition of such corrective actions, including conducting follow up testing to ensure effectiveness of implemented actions. * Prepare internal audit reports and/or results of quarterly testing for presentation to the Internal Audit Manager, auditees, senior management, and the Audit Committee. Reports are to include the results of the internal audit objectives and scope as well as applicable conclusions, recommendations, and action plans. Communications must be accurate, objective, clear, concise, constructive, complete, and timely. * Assist in training of employees to promote awareness of internal control responsibilities, related regulatory requirements, and fraud detection and prevention. * Assist in coordinating audit efforts with those of state, federal, and other independent outside auditors and/or examiners. * Maintain sufficient independence from Bank management to clearly demonstrate objectivity in matters affecting audit conclusions.
