Client Specialist- Commercial Lending

Position Summary:

The Client Specialist

• Commercial Lending, will initiate new internal requests for client onboarding, maintaining, updating and keeping client data current. You will interact with other Business Services support teams and occasionally external parties, while adhering to the governance structure of Telhio.

What you will do:

• Facilitate application process by interfacing with customers in taking complete applications.

• Requesting documentation from borrowers.

• Act as a liaison between the VP Commercial Relationship Manager and the Processing Team and coordinate Letter of Interest submissions as well as loan closings.

• Review complex files with multi-layered entity documentation and examine third party reports and leases.

• Identify potential problems with loan applications and arrive at a workable solution prior to submission to underwriting.

• Manage pipeline, including updating Client Manager on pipeline status and updating borrowers on the status of their loan.

• Assist the VP Commercial Relationship Manager in building customer and COI relationships.

• Size new loans with VP Commercial Relationship Manager's assistance.

• Support VP Commercial Relationship Managers to achieve high originations and retain existing clients. You will provide a high level of member service to both internal and external members.

• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Complies with all policies and standards.

What you will need:

• High school graduate or G.E.D.

• 2+ years of experience in Business/Commercial Lending.

• Experience working with credit products such as revolving lines of credit, term loans, commercial cards, letters of credit.

• Understanding of business financials.

• Effective communication skills (oral and written).

• Strong analytical, problem solving and proven decision-making skills

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively prioritize.

• Strong interpersonal/client servicing skills.

• Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.

• Telhio applicants must be able to pass a background check including: Credit, Drug Screen, Bondability, & Criminal Background.

• Must have a valid/unexpired driver's license.
