The Team Leader Client & Consumer Solutions will manage and lead 6-8 direct reports responsible for the service of both our consumer and retail customers & business channels. Team Leader is responsible for delivering business results through training, team development and performance management. They manage and assist with department functions: Customer account and order management, deduction processing, client relationships, issue tracking and resolution, key program & initiative tracking, Sales and Supply Chain meetings and communication, special projects as needed.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Hire, lead and train team members

  • Assign and follow up on department functions

  • Act as main point of escalation for team

  • Collaborate and partner with Wilton teams to deliver strategic initiatives and improve processes

  • Administrative and Supervisory duties such as payroll, Human Resources issues, performance counseling and vacation scheduling, etc.

  • Monitor and review daily/weekly/monthly reports for performance gaps and opportunities

  • Create and carry out action plans to improve service levels, results, etc.

Education and Experience:

  • A high school degree required; college degree preferred
  • 3-5 years customer service or related experience required
  • 2-3 years related supervisor or management experience

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • JD Edwards or similar ERP system experience

  • Ability to multitask and delegate

  • Strong reporting and analytical skills

  • People development and succession planning

  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MSWord and MS Outlook - Required Excel skills: v-lookups, pivot tables, data import/export

  • Strong verbal and email communication skills required

Physical Demands/Work Requirements:

  • Occasional travel to Romeoville distribution center for Supply Chain meetings or tours. Occurs less than 3% of time.

Learn more about Wilton at http://www.wilton.com. Job Summary: Perform functions supporting customers and supply chain which includes managing orders, returns, and assisting the deductions team. Communicating issues to internal and external customers. Work daily with Sales and Supply Chain to ensure customer needs are met. Provide weekly updates on order statuses for replenishment orders, key shipments and programs, as well as, customer service-related special projects. Create and summarize reports to track individual metrics Essential Responsibilities: Managing orders from the point of receipt through pricing, inventory fill and delivery requirements. Ensuring orders ship on time, in full and with accuracy. Electronic and manual order entry. Assisting other interdepartmental teams when needed. Education and Experience: * 2-3 years of customer service involvement in a corporate environment. * A college degree is preferred, although quality experience with handling accounts will be considered. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Reliable in learning and backing up coworker's accounts as needed. * Possess a team mentality and cross group collaboration skills. * Must be customer-service oriented and have a friendly personality. * The capability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. * Ability to meet deadlines on a consistent basis. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Problem-solve, think independently, and be persistent in bringing issues to conclusion. * Proficiency in MS Excel, MSWord and MS Outlook. * Previous experience with order management and EDI systems/processes; JD Edwards or relevant ERP experience is a plus.
