Key Roles and

Responsibilities:

  • Generates existing and/or new sales to

customers for delivery of AT&T products/services/systems and solutions to

solve customer's strategic business priorities.

  • Builds and maintains a network of colleagues

and customers to share information and obtain prospects.

  • Initiates customer contacts/visits with

existing and prospective customers.

  • Develops new accounts and maintaining and

growing existing accounts.

  • Establishes and maintains productive

long-term networks and relationships with customers.

  • Observes and participates in presenting

products and services that can benefit customer's needs.

  • Demonstrates and maintains complete extensive

knowledge of the organizations entire product and service line.

  • Partners with clients to understand business

needs, issues, strategies and priorities in order to deliver value-added

business solutions.

  • Develops responses to Request for Proposals.

Utilizes consultative selling skills to close sales within assigned accounts.

  • Identify key trends and customer needs and

leverage industry knowledge and applications in order to find and close

opportunities.

  • Most of your time will be spent in direct sales related activities

in front of customers at their place of business.

  • Develops strategic initiatives to grow and

retain the revenue stream of assigned complex accounts while ensuring customer

satisfaction.

  • Supports the sales team through coaching or

mentoring. Assists less experienced peers and act as team lead when presenting

products/services to existing or prospective customers

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid

driver's license with satisfactory driving record

  • Current

auto insurance

  • Reliable

vehicle per transportation needs of market

Skills &

Experience:

  • Typically requires 5-8 years direct work

experience.

  • 5+ years experience B2B, Business to Business

sales in an outside or direct sales environment preferred

  • Account management and client relationship

management experience preferred

  • Experience selling business

telecommunications and technology solutions direct to enterprise businesses or

Federal, State or local government agencies preferred

  • Experience meeting and exceeding sales goals

in a competitive environment and generating revenue

  • Strong negotiation, communication and

interpersonal skills

Education:

Bachelor's

Degree, technical discipline preferred.

Position Summary: * Cultivate existing relationships and coordination with the brand store operation teams to ensure integrated plans are developed to support Mast and their third-party service providers. This is applicable to both merchandise and non-merchandise shipments. * Utilize working knowledge of inventory flow, specific to the needs of a back room and/or off-site storage facility, to identify opportunities for improved effectiveness and/or financial implications of existing core standard operating procedures. * Provide support for operations of a national and/or Canadian store delivery network comprised of 19 third party companies operating in 58 locations nationwide and providing time-definite delivery of over 38 million cartons with a retail value exceeding $9 billion dollars to 4,400 retail locations * Ensure consistent implementation of multiple broad-scoped projects with significant complexity to the store operating model. * Provide analytical support by managing budgets associated with newly implemented solutions as well as for negotiations of third party service provider contracts exceeding $95M in annual expenditures. * Ability to lead projects by influencing partners within the supply chain, brand and external third-party service providers. This leadership is inclusive of timeline definition, calendar, resource management and risk analysis. * Influence continuous improvement opportunities, to include performance factors and trend reporting associated with the store delivery and local market logistics services. Responsibilities Include: * Effectively manages brand and third-party customer relationships with the goal of achieving Store Operations Blue Chip priorities, coordinating additional value-added services, and contributing to the overall success of the customers' product flow. * Supports the development and implementation of strategies to improve network service and cost efficiency. * Provide recommendations for development of new capabilities within the network for standard and customized store deliveries, backroom congestion management, and offsite storage programs. * Develops and evaluates trend reporting to mitigate risk and allow for continuous improvement within the delivery agent network inclusive of the off-site storage program. This includes current network's performance; on-time delivery, POD transmission timeliness, claims avoidance, carton scan performance, pick accuracy and overall off-site storage optimization. * Effectively manages business relationships with store operations, flow planning, delivery agents, RDCs, and other third-party providers with the goal of maximizing network capacity, optimal service, cost, and security. * Effectively manage the use of technology to optimize services and cost within the network. * Provide support to develop peak season capacity requirements to third party providers. Work with leadership team to develop contingency plans for all markets in terms of back-ups, seasonal and holiday forecasts, equipment, etc. * Participate in formal service reviews with Senior Management of carriers/third party providers. This may include visiting carriers' corporate headquarters, visiting stores with terminal managers, and coordinating meetings with store operations executives in the field. Travel may be up to 25% of the position. Qualifications Position Requirements: * Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Transportation, Logistics, or other relevant business discipline preferred. * A minimum of 5 years prior experience within store operations, specifically related to merchandise flow and project management. * Previous experience with Transportation or Logistics is a plus. * Possesses integrity, interpersonal, and leadership skills to accomplish results with and through individuals and teams. * Self-starter with initiative to action strategic vision of team and leadership goals for merchandise flow and final mile delivery solutions. * Operates successfully within a team/matrix organization to achieve desired outcomes.
