This position will work within Government Programs Pharmacy and more specially with the Medicaid benefit. A Client Services Specialist on this team will conduct research and analysis in regard to pharmacy claims and pharmacy benefits. Troubleshoot issues within the health plan. Assist Care/Case Managers with pharmacy related issues or concerns. Provide support to the Pharmacy Manager and Director. This is an excellent opportunity to enjoy a role with non-retail hours and no weekend or holiday shifts.

This position is full-time (40 hours/week) Monday- Friday. Employees are required to have flexibility to work any of our 8-hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00am-5:00pm). It may be necessary, given the business need, to work occasional overtime.

This role will be located approximately 50% onsite and 50% working at home. Employees must meet the work at home / telecommute requirements to be eligible for this role. Our office is located at 1111 3rd Avenue Seattle, WA 98101.

If you are located in the Seattle, WA area or currently working remotely, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Training will be conducted virtually from your home.

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma / GED (or higher)

  • 3+ years of Pharmacy related experience

  • Must have Pharmacy Technician licensure and registration

  • Moderate proficiency with Windows PC applications, which includes the ability to learn new and complex computer system application

  • Available to work 40 hours per week and overtime as required according to the needs of the business

  • Prior stable work experience

  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. When in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are required to wear a mask in common areas. In addition, employees must comply with any state and local masking orders
