The Client Services Specialist communicates directly with Adaptive customers to generate quotes and orders in Salesforce.com and act as the primary liaison between the customer and many of the company's internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Lab Operations and Technical Support. You will work closely with the Manager of Client Services to streamline processes, ensure efficiency and improve existing standard operating procedures. To meet customer needs, the hours for this position are 7 am
3:30 pm, Monday
Respond to telephone inquiries and e-mail messages from customers through Salesforce.com case queue. Provide information and assistance on Adaptive's products, including sample preparation guidelines, applications, and data release
Support Adaptive's field Sales teams with quote and order creation. Accountable for detailed documentation of all aspects of customer order in Salesforce.com
Take ownership of data hygiene in Salesforce.com. Perform regular sweeps and clean ups ensuring company data is accurate
Oversee and troubleshoot customer order from sample receipt through data release and invoicing
Work directly with Biological Specimen Management to resolve sample receipt discrepancies
Take ownership of any customers concerns and follow issue through to resolution
Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
3-5 years Client Services experience, preferably in the life sciences industry
Ability to handle technically complex scientific documentation and articulate technical concepts to customers
Familiarity CRM Salesforce.com
Must have strong attention to detail and meticulous data entry skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion in a dynamic office setting
Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for engagement with both internal and external personnel
Flexible team-player with the ability to develop best practices for procedures on new assignments
