Position Overview

The Client Services Specialist communicates directly with Adaptive customers to generate quotes and orders in Salesforce and act as the primary liaison between the customer and many of the company's internal departments including Sales, Marketing, Lab Operations, and Technical Support.

To best meet customer needs, the hours for this position are 8:30am

  • 5:00pm, Monday

  • Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to telephone inquiries and e-mail messages from customers through Salesforce case queue

  • Provide information and assistance on Adaptive's products, including sample preparation guidelines, applications, and data release

  • Support Adaptive's field Sales teams with quote and order creation. Accountable for detailed documentation of all aspects of customer order in Salesforce

  • Take ownership of data hygiene in Salesforce. Perform regular sweeps and clean ups ensuring company data is accurate

  • Oversee and troubleshoot customer order from sample receipt through data release and invoicing

  • Work directly with Biological Specimen Management to resolve sample receipt discrepancies

  • Take ownership of any customers concerns and follow issue through to resolution

  • Prepare and ship boxes for Research Life Sciences customers daily or as needed

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • 2+ years Client Services experience, preferably in the life sciences industry

  • Ability to handle technically complex scientific documentation and articulate technical concepts to customers

  • Familiarity with Salesforce CRM

  • Must have strong attention to detail and meticulous data entry skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks to completion in a dynamic office setting

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for engagement with internal and external personnel

  • Flexible team-player with the ability to develop best practices for procedures on new assignments
