OHSU Dermatology is located in the Center for Health & Healing on the South Waterfront in Portland, Oregon. The Department of Dermatology is dedicated to providing our patients the best and most innovative dermatologic care for the broad range of skin, hair, nail, and mucous membrane disorders.

Schedule:Flex, Monday - Friday
Salary Range: $19.40 - $22.82 per hour
Location: Portland, OR (South Waterfront/Portland Metro area)

Functions/Duties of Position
The Client Services Representative 1 is responsible for all aspects of customer service in a commercial laboratory setting. This position answers routine client questions regarding test offering, logistics, test ordering, and test order status. Work closely with clients and assigned Sales Force staff to ensure customer satisfaction. Ensure high quality lab work by efficient communication of laboratory test turn-around-times and testing status information to clients.The position also provides day-to-day technical support for testing performed in the laboratory, answers phone calls, maintains laboratory supplies and prepares requisitions and reports for departmental leadership. The employee in this position participates in troubleshooting and process improvement with the pre-analytical team. As part of the pre-analytical team, the position is responsible for specimen accessioning, specimen information entry into the patient database, and distribution to the appropriate laboratory department.
Associates Degree and 2 years experience in a customer service role and familiarity with medical terminology; OR 4 years experience in a customer service role and familiarity with medical terminology
1 year clinical or research lab experience
Ability to work individually and as part of a team while being collaborative in resolving problems
Excellent communication, analytical and organizational skills: both written and verbal
