Client Services Representative, Newton Veterinary Hospital

Newton Veterinary Hospital is looking for an experienced veterinary receptionist to join our team our team of dedicated pet care professionals!

We're looking for someone with strong organizational and communication skills who is able to deal with emotional situations with reason and compassion. Our hospital places a strong emphasis on the human-animal bond so our ideal candidate will want to play an active role in our clients' and patients' welfare. Candidates must be able to work evenings and weekends.

Our Veterinary Receptionist is responsible for greeting visitors, confirming appointments, processing customer payments, scheduling surgeries and assisting veterinary staff with any additional tasks.

Requirements

Responsibilities:

• Follow up on patient appointments in a timely manner.
• Answer incoming phone calls and direct calls to receptionists when necessary.
• Input insurance information into the computer.
• Call in prescriptions to the pharmacy for customers.
• Answer questions about pet care and provide educational information when needed.
• Perform clerical tasks for the veterinary practice.
