As part of the Bank of America team, client service representatives (CSRs) go beyond processing simple account transactions you'll listen to client needs and advise on products and services to support our clients through life events and moments that matter. Anticipate and resolve client concerns with the goal of exceeding each client's expectations, no matter how large or small the request. CSRs work in an inbound client service contact center that requires sitting and taking calls for the entire shift, with structured breaks. Being there for our clients is our number one priority. In order to do that, we need our employees to adhere to schedules that ensure our clients have every opportunity to connect with a client service professional in their moments that matter. 1st and 2nd shift schedules are available for this role.

We'll help you

  • Get training and on-the-job support from managers who are invested in your success. You'll receive in- depth classroom training, including side-by-side live call handling and continued on-the-job training and coaching.

  • Learn about core banking products and services we provide through Bank of America. Understand which products/services will work best for the client throughout the relationship and how to successfully resolve client requests using best-in-class tools and resources.

  • Provide education to clients. Inform and educate clients on how to conduct simple transactions through self-service technologies that benefit them.

  • Has 1+ year of customer/client service experience, including experience handling difficult client situations.

  • Has at least an intermediate level of proficiency with computers and current technology.

You'll be better prepared if you have (desired skills and qualifications)

  • 1+ year of experience in the banking/financial industry.
  • 1+ year of experience working in a client service call center.

The role is responsible for working on multiple programs and priorities simultaneously, including program design, analysis, deliverables, communications and deployment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong combination of strategic thinking, tactical planning and project management skills along with the ability to complete analysis, design & build resources and prioritize multiple tasks. The role requires the ability to develop strong partnerships and coordination with business partners. Responsibilities include: * Drive improvement in time to productivity of new hire phone agents, Client Service Representatives (CSRs), through design, build and scalable delivery of high impact on-boarding programs used across 35 locations inclusive of content, tools, simulators, practice activities, materials, processes, measurement, reporting, and communications. * Ensure new to role skill development through a blend of learn/practice/apply methodologies incorporated into programs. Evolve existing knowledge checkpoints within the training plan to simpler execution while sustaining the value of the assessment process. * Manage pipeline of enhancement opportunities sourced from many entry points and establish routines to prioritize, engage resources and deliver in a timely manner. * Create processes, routines and reports to obtain, deeply review and analyze VOA and summarize findings. * Collaborate with other internal academy teammates and partners (program operations & execution team, learning, talent acquisition, etc.) to share best practices and identify process/program opportunities to ensure a seamless end to end experience for training and development program participants. * Replace outdated program elements/content with emerging capabilities through intricate re-design of programs in flight, requiring version control plans. * Implement and manage a repeatable and well-defined quarterly recognition process spanning 22 internal contact center sites to reward LOB coaches who excel in new hire skill building. * Create visibility, oversight and remediation of training completion reporting to ensure new hires enter production with all required learning completed * Simplify and streamline processes used throughout the program to reduce manual steps, improve efficiency, reduce errors and boost business results. * Ensure adherence to risk culture by enforcing internal and regulatory policies, procedures and processes throughout new to role program. * Stays abreast of current business/site strategy, client relationship care objectives, and risk concerns, translates those into necessary updates, and makes enhancements to programs as appropriate. * Throughout end to end new hire experience, instill the fundamentals of who we are as a company and inspire the adoption of concepts such as our purpose, strategy, operating principles, commitments and values, as well as Advocacy and Empathy.
