JOB SUMMARY
Homeowners Choice currently has openings for Client Service Representatives with the opportunity to work hybrid/remote while living in the Tampa Bay area. We are looking for individuals with a strong customer service background, seeking a career in the property and casualty industry, and driven to become subject matter experts in their new role.
As a Client Services Representative at Homeowners Choice, you are responsible for providing world class service to customers regarding their insurance policy through phone, email, and fax communication.
Shift available:
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Provides exceptional customer service when responding to customer questions and concerns
Processes endorsements and policy changes forwarded by agents, policyholders, and lienholders
Assists with payment transactions and inquires
Handles First Notice of Loss calls
Keeps detailed records of transactions within our policy management system
Aids other departments during CAT (catastrophe) events
Maintains continuing education requirements
Other duties as assigned

HYBRID WORKING & COLLABORATION WEEKS
To foster HCI's commitment to creating a collaborative work environment, remote workers will be required to report to a central office location for one week every quarter for collaboration, team building, and educational exercises. Attendance during collaboration weeks is a vital component of our team culture, and therefore mandatory unless exceptions are approved through Human Resources. Additionally, employees may be asked to report to the office outside of collaboration weeks as project requirements, team meetings, or other organizational needs that necessitate in-person collaboration occur.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Work is primarily sedentary in nature. Job operates in a professional office environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and other devices. The employee will be exposed to normal office environment conditions and temperatures. Noise level is low to moderate.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The role requires sitting for long periods of time, as well as working with computers and other electronic screens under fluorescent lights.

This is a primarily hybrid remote position that does require one week per quarter in-office. Candidates must live within 60 miles of 3802 Coconut Palm Drive, Tampa, 33619.
