Title: Wealth Management Client Care Representative

Class: Full Time, Non-Exempt

Dept: Wealth Management

Reports: BerganKDV Wealth Management Operations Manager

Supervises: None


BerganKDV Wealth Management is seeking candidates for a full-time Client Service Representative position. The primary responsibility will be to support three advisors in all aspects of client service and daily activity. You will regularly interact with clients and ensure that we are delivering a "Wow" client experience with the purpose to empower our clients to live their best lives.


  • Manage new client implementation and onboarding process, including but not limited to preparing paperwork, opening and transferring financial accounts, and gathering client information.

  • Process all necessary asset transactions such as money movements, new account openings, transfers, rollovers and deposits.

  • Prepare, manage and secure signed forms required for account opening, management, and maintenance. This includes paper signatures, Docu-sign and e-signature presentation.

  • Responsible for the accurate and timely administration of client-related activities and tasks within the client relationship management system (Tamarac).

  • Schedule and coordinate client and prospect meetings.

  • Assist advisors with client meetings, to include preparation, follow-up and other items as requested.

  • Receive and respond to telephone client inquiries and service requests in a professional and businesslike manner

  • Interface with all investment platforms in addressing client service issues.

  • Client file and CRM (Tamarac) organization and maintenance

  • Learn and adapt to new software, technology and processes, as rolled out by our technology and operation teams

  • Attend and participate in weekly and quarterly team meetings.

  • Actively engage in BerganKDV training and education programs.

  • Operate in a culture of Radical Candor, giving and receiving feedback to increase professional growth

  • Maintain up-to-date familiarity of industry trends that affect the investment market

  • Perform other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned


  • Associates degree in any general Business field of study and/or 2 + years' experience in administration

  • Proficient interpersonal communication, writing and group presentation skills

  • Able to make critical decisions independently


  • High School Diploma required, Associates or Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • Experience in a professional office environment; preferably within a financial services environment or similar professional setting.


  • Highly organized, detailed, and critical thinker

  • Capability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining the necessary attention to detail and meeting deadlines

  • Ability to prioritize and complete tasks efficiently

  • Wildly resourceful, proposing thoughtful solutions when faced with a challenge

  • Comfortable working directly with clients in person and over the phone

  • Polished verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficient with technology, including Microsoft Office suite and CRM databases (Tamarac experience is a plus but not required)

  • Exude emotional maturity, professional mindset and professional etiquette

  • Ability to operate in a team environment, be adaptable, and build relationships with clients and colleagues.

  • Operate at a pace that aligns with specific deadlines.
