What does a great Client Services Professional do?

  • The Client Services Professional serves as the primary point of contact for full credit clients, providing operational and tactical support for the credit card platform, as well as its ancillary products and services.

  • The Client Services Professionals network and partner with multiple business areas throughout the organization, and acts as a liaison between the client and Fiserv's internal partners.

  • The Client Services Professional maintains ownership of client related inquiries and issues as it pertains to their credit card program and engages the appropriate resources in order to ensure a timely and satisfactory resolution.

  • Under minimal supervision, defines and/or resolves client problems with designated product lines

  • Provides contact through telephone support and simulates or recreate problems to provide resolution to client for operating difficulties.

  • Discusses problems or inquiries with other department personnel and offers technical assistance and insures proper handling and follow-up.

  • Communicates customer suggestions for enhancements and insures proper handling and follow-up.

  • Documents problems and corrective actions/procedures in tracking software.

  • Works with development staff to determine problem solutions.

  • Attends on-going training to achieve level of technical skill needed to solve more complex problems.

  • Performs other duties as required

Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • Strong customer service/ client support experience

  • One to three years of experience in the financial services/banking field interacting with clients.

  • Ability to communicate verbally and in written form in a concise, clear, and professional manner

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships internally and externally

  • Resourceful and proactive

  • Good organizational and time management skills with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

Preferred Skills, Experience, and Education

  • One to three years of experience in the financial services/banking field interacting with clients.

  • Associates or Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Good computer skills with MS Office Suite and related office equipment

  • Knowledge or experience in bankcard/credit card processing a plus

Travel required: Percentage/frequency of travel 5%

As a Client Services Professional Senior, you will be working with Community Banks and Credit Unions, providing support for tactical and operational matters related to the client's credit card program.
