Job Description

AZZ has an exciting opportunity for a Client Services Manager reporting to the Plant Manager at our Rockford facility. As a CSM, you will be the face of AZZ, providing an upstanding and personal customer experience. You will develop great relationships with our customers- both internally and externally. The CSM sets and manages service expectations and is always looking for ways to improve and enhance our customer and employee relations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintains log, status, and control over customer RFQ's and quotations.

• Assists Sales Manager with developing quotations and sales strategies.

• Makes calls to customers and potential customers to introduce new products and services; receives customer inquires/sales calls to provide resolutions to problems and/or assist in the sales process.

• Assists Sales Manager and Sales Engineers in closing orders as required.

• Contacts customers when orders are completed.

• Monitors market conditions and competitors' prices and services.

• Reviews orders for completion and informs customers accordingly.

• Attempts to sell additional services to prospective or current customers by telephone.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years experience in sales and/or customer service.

• 2+ years supervisory experience preferred.

• Steel industry experience preferred.

• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications, i.e., Excel, Outlook, and Word.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Prior knowledge of Oracle preferred.

Minimum Education

• Associates Degree required. Bachelors Degree preferred.
