Who we are looking for?
The Insights and Operations Analyst, reporting to the VP, Client Services, will drive efficient growth of AppFolio's Client Services teams through analytics, access to data, process optimization, and technology implementation. This role is committed to improving customer happiness and identifying business opportunities based on data insights.
Partner with VP & functional Directors to define/update performance metrics by team
Build data infrastructure and performance dashboards to measure and track performance by team
Draw insightful conclusions from data to assess and implement new opportunities to increase recurring revenue and operating leverage
Define and implement a framework to prioritize short-term and long-term Client Services investments
Implement quarterly department business reviews
Drive, in collaboration with VP, functional Directors, and Finance, the annual planning process
Define and own the ongoing strategy and execution of the Client Services Insights and Operations Team
Evaluate current software systems and identify opportunities for investment
Implement software systems improvements and re-evaluate and maintain software systems as needed
5+ years of experience in operations, data analytics, or business analyst roles, or equivalent. SaaS experience is a plus
Proven ability of delivering key insights from data
Proven experience in technology or systems implementation
Consistent habit of using data to drive operational improvements (e.g. revenue gains or cost efficiencies)
Experience managing operational projects and/or processes from identification to implementation to execution
Excellent verbal and written communication skills clear and articulate communicator
Team player with proven ability to lead through influence
Excellent SQL and Microsoft Excel skills
Experience in SaaS operations utilizing SFDC reporting and analytics is a plus
BS/BA degree required
