Job Description:

The Client Service Associate works with the Regional Director, Regional Managers and Director to achieve the Bright Horizons Family Solutions' goals of parent satisfaction, quality programming and financial success and is responsible for developing center demand and parent relationships through outstanding customer service.

As the Client Service Associate, he/she must maintain confidentiality regarding center/network business and interact professionally with visitors, clients, faculty, parents and colleagues. Some of the major functions that come with the position include generating and analyzing center use and registration reports to understand client use/registration levels and the reasons behind the results; partnering with sales and client services team in understanding priority clients for the center while meeting client/ parent needs; leading development and implementation of parent outreach initiatives to increase membership and utilization; as well being responsible for the registration process to ensure that interested parents become fully registered and the center's reservation system to balance multiple clients and parent requests.

Other functions include ensuring that children's files meet the licensing requirements by ensuring that missing information is received and continually updating their files; ensuring the security of the center at all times in accordance to Bright Horizons practices; and welcoming all visitors and families to the center in person or by phone, always projecting a professional and positive image in all interactions.

Job Requirements

  • BA/AA in Business or related field, strong organizational and communication skills, as well as an excellent phone manner are required.

  • Strong computer skills to manage daily responsibilities (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Data Entry), the ability to prioritize and work in fast-paced environment, as well as the ability to make independent decisions based on information and data are necessary.

About Global Markets Operations Global Market Operations is responsible for the overall functioning of operations across the Investment Banking division of the firm. Overall Purpose of role Operations Client Services (OCS) provides global operational support and advocacy to Barclay's most important clients. Our primary responsibility is to proactively evaluate operational Service Measures along with our clients' Service Level Expectations to identify opportunities for process / performance improvement. OCS also manage operations client relationships across all asset classes and provide 24 hour coverage, five days per week for any issues the client may require assistance with. OCS ensures ownership of significant escalated issues and also helps perform root cause analysis, conducts broker reviews, client data analysis, operational improvement projects and client services training. OCS is responsible for guiding delivery of the core Operations Client Strategy in partnership with Distribution, SRM and O&T leads, as well as direct relationship management of a high profile group of clients. OCS provides oversight of our regional Diamond / Platinum / Gold client operations interaction, and provides a view on the 'voice of client' back to internal stakeholders. The role will represent Barclays to some of our most high profile clients, either autonomously or together with our partners in Distribution or SRM. Your Role * Serve as a cross-product single point of escalation for a portfolio of strategic US institutional clients. * Be responsible for KRI and governance oversight of regional client interaction, including all Service Measure metrics, escalation data, engagement levels, risk reporting and trend analysis. * Will have direct ownership for a set of high profile, demanding clients, across asset class & functions. (Credit, Rates, Equity, Repo, FX - both cash and OTC Derivatives), and will lead formal Broker Reviews and regular service checkpoints. * Leverage industry experience and partner with SME's to provide client education services through publications and workshops. * Proactively leverage operational Service Measures to track trends and generate solutions in partnership with functional line teams. This will include personal delivery and oversight of process optimisation and root cause remediation exercises. * Help guide the organisation's strategic decisions through a client lens, leveraging the interaction and knowledge accrued with institutional investors and other market participants * Foster a partnership with clients to plan for industry and regulatory changes impacting/relevant to Operations * Work with Barclays Group SRM and Distribution leads to keep abreast of our client's business strategy to anticipate future operational requirements, including assisting with capturing new flow. * Represent Barclays in industry and client forums where appropriate, providing a view to our clients on areas of industry change and ensuring Barclays remain close to areas of innovation within the broker community. * Be able to create and manage virtual, global teams to deliver process / technology changes for our key clients (both tactical and strategic).
