Manages the business relationships between Market Participants and ERCOT. JOB SUMMARY Serves as a primary point of contact or liaison between ERCOT and Market Participants and potential Market Participants. Functions as a power market business resource to Market Participants in their business and operational interactions with ERCOT, Inc. in establishing and maintaining market roles, issue and inquiry resolution for power operations, wholesale market operations, retail market operations and financial settlement.

Acts as knowledgeable agent between ERCOT ISO personnel and Market Participants for addressing Market Participant and ERCOT business transactions and communications. POSITION DESCRIPTION Essential Job Duties and Tasks Level 1 Establishes and develops an effective business relationship with each assigned Market Participant. Facilitates resolution of day-to-day operating issues on behalf of clients.

Assists Market Participants in meeting registration and qualification requirements. Develops basic knowledge and understanding of ERCOT market and operations to identify, contribute to the design of market education, and deliver training to market participants. Develops account plans to identify and execute tasks aligned with each Market Participants needs and based on a solid understanding of its operational interactions with ERCOT.

Facilitates communication between Market Participants and various ERCOT departments and promotes effective interdepartmental working relationships and assists in developing mutual team goals. Builds knowledge of ERCOT market protocols, ERCOTs operations and business functions as an effective liaison between ERCOT and Market Participants on a wide range of subjects across most of ERCOTs functions in the ERCOT market. Applies ERCOT protocols and business procedures consistently with all Market Participants under strict confidentiality.

Assists with projects and process improvements, as necessary, to resolve Market Participants business issues. Coordinates or facilitates/participates, as needed, in stakeholder processes to support ERCOT and Market Participants. Performs other duties as assigned.

Level 2, all of above and Maintains and enhances effective business relationship with each assigned Market Participant. Grows knowledge in ERCOT market and operations to identify, contribute to the design of market education, and deliver training to market participants. Guides communication between Market Participants and various ERCOT departments and promotes effective interdepartmental working relationships and assists in developing mutual team goals.

Maintains and expands knowledge of ERCOT market protocols, ERCOTs operations and business functions as an effective liaison between ERCOT and Market Participants on a wide range of subjects across most of ERCOTs functions in the ERCOT market. Advises Market Participants in meeting registration and qualification requirements. Participates actively in projects and process improvements, as necessary, to resolve Market Participants business issues.

Performs other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS Education Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, Computer Sciences, Engineering, or relevant field or six years of applicable experience. Work Experience Amount varies according to position (in excess of degree requirements stated above) of progressively responsible experience in the electric industry preferred or related field and an advanced understanding of the competitive electric markets and reliable operation of an interconnected transmission and distribution system required.

The Safety Manager is responsible for promoting and encouraging a safe and environmentally sound culture. Ensures facility safety compliance and keeps abreast of relevant health, safety, sanitation and environmental policies, laws, regulations, and codes. Provides technical guidance to management recommending corrective action and preventive measures as required. Establish and lead programs to evaluate and monitor safety, health, and environmental practices ensuring compliance with all applicable company policies, customer contracts, federal, state, and local regulations/codes. Promote a zero injury/illness safety culture. Interface with regulatory agencies, safety committee members, and facility staff to address concerns and formulate corrective actions. Design and conduct safety training for facility staff and inmates/residents. Ensure staff training and corrective action follow-ups are completed. Monitor contractor safety activities to ensure services are performed in accordance with company guidelines, regulations and code to maintain the safety and security of staff, inmates/residents and facility. Lead and ensure completion of job hazard assessments, fire drills, facility reviews, routine inspections, and safety audits. Qualifications High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent. One year experience in fire/safety or a safety-related field preferred. Must demonstrate ability to complete any required fire/safety training. A valid driver's license is required.
