Where you will work:

This position offers a hybrid work option (up to 50% remote) and is open to MN-Mankato or any Compeer office location in Illinois, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

The contributions you will make:

This position assists all Compeer lending and leasing programs being serviced by the Risk Asset Unit through professional, high-quality client service to all client types: internal, third party and external. Primary responsibilities include documentation analysis, partnering with the Risk Asset Unit Officers and Risk Asset Unit Credit Officers; transaction analysis; systems accounting, reporting and monitoring; portfolio servicing; and overall client service. This position requires collaboration with internal and external clients as well as third parties throughout all phases of loan/lease cycles including post close servicing, documentation and final exit.

A typical day:

  • Partners with all members of the Risk Asset team as well as collaborates with other teams and business units to ensure coordinated efforts in managing troubled credit accounts.
  • Ensures all loan documentation is accurate, complete, and up-to-date and assists in maintaining detailed records of all actions taken.
  • Develops and implements solutions to complex problems by considering various perspectives and potential outcomes.
  • Conducts thorough investigations into loan-related issues, such as discrepancies in documentation, compliance concerns, or borrower inquiries, to identify root causes and potential solutions.

The skills and experience we prefer you have:

  • High school diploma or GED; secondary education.
  • A minimum of two years' experience in processing loans secured by personal property and real estate. This includes familiarity with loan documentation, regulatory compliance, and the nuances of secured lending.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Demonstrates a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances, priorities, and technologies, maintaining productivity and effectiveness in dynamic environments.

The actual title and base pay offered is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs and market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role is eligible for variable compensation and other benefits.

Base Pay

$41,300-$58,700 USD
