Our Newest Opportunity:

The Client Service Specialist/Admin role supports the account service staff which includes Client Service Specialist, Account Managers and/or Benefit Consultant by assisting with day-to-day client projects including processing eligibility, billing and enrollment audit support, EDI discrepancy review and management and additional administrative functions that are designed to improve and enhance workflows, timeliness, and client responsiveness. Includes additional tasks as directed by Client Services Specialist Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Processes eligibility (new hires, terms, QLEs) with the carriers in a timely manner

  • Runs reports from Ben Admin systems on a regular basis to identify changes for processing

  • With oversight by the Client Service Specialist, Account Manager or Benefits Consultant, updates census, policy/product information and commissions for all accounts and policies within D365

  • Follows-up on service issues and tracks through D365 cases

  • Thorough documentation of all calls/emails, work effort and related problem resolution in D365 and/or Planner

  • Assisting clients with billing discrepancy resolution (within scope of duties as a non-licensed contributor)

  • Performs client audits as necessary and as directed by Client Service Specialist, Account Manager or Consultant

  • Reviews and manages the EDI discrepancy reports for assigned clients

  • General administrative duties

  • Ensure the protection and security of a consumer's personal, confidential and identifiable information in a

  • professional and responsible manner, according to the standards and requirements of the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA)

  • Contributes to overall team goals and objectives through team participation and the sharing of individual skills and strengths

  • Other duties as requested or assigned.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Positive, can-do attitude

  • Ability to work independently as well as in team environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong, organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task, and impeccable follow-through.

  • Professionally and adeptly resolve issues while under pressure.

  • 2+ years' applicable job experience, preferred

  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced production environment

  • Prior experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm, preferred

  • Familiarity with insurance carrier websites, preferred

  • Proven track record in customer service; preferred

  • Familiarity with database applications, a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook

Education, Training and Experience:

  • 1-2 years' applicable job experience, preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, required

  • Prior experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm, preferred

  • Familiarity with insurance carrier websites, preferred

  • Proven track record in customer service, preferred

  • Bachelor's Degree, preferred

  • Familiarity with database applications, a plus

Other:

  • License within one year of employment (subject to manager approval)

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $28 to $31 per hour.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications,

professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are

eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on

your individual performance and/or the company's performance. We also offer
