We're looking for the next generation of client service representatives (formally known as tellers) those with a passion for people and creating a positive client experience in every interaction.

As part of the Bank of America team, client service representatives (CSRs) go beyond processing transactions you'll build relationships with clients to understand their financial goals, identify solutions that will benefit them and connect them to the appropriate teammate who can provide education and solutions to help them live their best financial lives. CSRs work in a financial center and report to the financial center manager.

We'll help you

  • Get training and one-on-one coaching from your manager who is invested in your success. You'll enroll in our Academy for Consumer and Small Business to develop as a client service representative.

  • Learn core banking solutions and processes. Understand solutions we provide through Bank of America and how to process transactions such as client deposits and cashing checks accurately.

  • Grow your network to maximize effectiveness in meeting client needs. Cultivate relationships with teammates and specialists to assist clients with inquiries and/or problem resolution.

  • Provide education to clients. Inform and educate clients on how to conduct simple transactions through convenient banking options, such as online banking, mobile banking and ATMs, that benefit them.

  • Adhere to policies and procedures through education of regulatory policies, employee and client safety procedures and service delivery guidelines.

  • Has a minimum six months of client service experience in financial services, retail sales or another results-driven environment.

  • Has a minimum of six months of experience offering solutions and services based on the client's needs.

  • In lieu of six months of client service experience, has previously completed the Bank of America financial center internship program.

  • Can be flexible to work weekends and/or extended hours as needed.

  • Is proficient in basic computer skills.

You'll be better prepared if you have (desired skills)

  • A minimum of six months in a role that involved handling/managing cash.

VIEW JOBS 12/7/2019 12:00:00 AM 2020-03-06T00:00 The Financial Services Representative Supervisor I (FSR Supervisor I) provides direct customer service at a full-service banking center. Assists the Banking Center Manager, Assistant Manager, and/or FSR Supervisor II in day to day operations at the Banking Center. Acts in a supervisory capacity for purposes of opening and closing the banking center, and providing guidance and support to FSR's for more complex transactions requiring higher level authority. Direct customer service includes: relationship building; servicing current and potential customers; opening accounts; loan originating; managing records; servicing existing accounts; account maintenance; providing safe deposit access; customer transaction activities as needed. * Develops rapport with customers, greeting customers by name, understand account ownership types and authority, being responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, while displaying a caring attitude (GUEST philosophy) * Provides excellent customer care to customers relative to daily transactions, addressing inquiries, and problem resolution, in accordance with Bank policies and procedures * Performs basic banking transactions including: processing deposits and loan payments, verifying cash and endorsements, check cashing, money orders and treasurer's check issuance and savings bond redemption * Fulfills all branch opening and closing activities * Introduces and advises on the Bank's deposit and consumer loan products and services to appropriately meet customer needs in a proactive manner * Introduces and advises on the Bank's products and services to appropriately meet customer needs * Proficient in determining customer's existing and prospective financial needs and identifies referrals to other business lines (Investment Services, TAM, Commercial, Cash Management, etc.) * Proficient in determining customer needs and recommending to the customer the products and services that best meet their needs * Maintain a working knowledge of product and service offerings including consumer, business, non-profit, retirement, Online Banking, BillPay, debits cards * Confidently discuss customer lending opportunities and assists customers in preparing loan applications for home equity products and personal loans * Safeguards customer trust by upholding duty of customer confidentiality * Must comply with all required regulations, guidelines, and policies * Timely completion of all assigned learning activities * Actively participate in branch meetings and one-on-one coaching sessions * Participation/volunteerism in community groups and events * Additional duties as assigned EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree strongly preferred OR pursuing Bachelor's Degree and minimum of two years of financial services experience Will be required to obtain NMLS registration and Notary Public designation KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES: * Minimum one year cash handling experience required * Minimum two years customer service experience * Prior customer relationship building experience * Must have cyber security awareness to protect the digital environment, the Bank, and customer COMPETENCIES: * Financial Savviness (Conversant in all Business Lines) * Problem Solving * Relationship Building Skills * Proficient Verbal and Written Communication Skills * Critical Thinking Skills * Courage * Technology Savviness/Digital Enthusiast * Financial Comprehension * Adaptability and Flexibility * Sales Aptitude * Eager Learner * Learning Agility * Superior Customer Service * ZR Cape Cod Five Cents Savings Orleans MA
