Brown & Brown of Pennsylvania is seeking an enthusiastic benefits professional to join our client servicing team! This role will support the sales and service team through quoting, proposal preparation and general support functions.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Conducts the entire Medical quoting process for clients and prospects in a professional, timely, and accurate manner.
Interacts with clients, potential clients, carriers and others to obtain additional information needed to complete the quoting process.
Prepares proposals for clients and prospects in a professional, timely and accurate manner.
Prepares Open Enrollment Materials and Kits for enrollment meetings.
Prepares and submits all renewal and new case paperwork to insurance carriers and vendors for processing.
Prepares and submits carrier census enrollment templates for new and renewing groups.
Prepares and submits all renewal and new case COBRA paperwork to COBRA vendors for processing.
Maintains and updates client information in CRM.
Maintains and updates all Internal Operations documentation in CRM for new and renewing clients.
Updates master proposal templates as medical plan portfolios change.
Responds to all emails and phone calls from clients and carrier partners within 24 hours.
Perform other duties as assigned.
High School diploma or equivalent (GED).
Minimum of 2 years of experience in the employee benefits field, 4+ years industry experience preferred.
Proven competency with Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook.
Must be detail-oriented.
Strong organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and phone etiquette skills.
Salary Range: Negotiable
