Overview:

The Client Service Associate for Trust role will primarily assist the Trust Officers in all phases of evaluating, opening, and administering fiduciary accounts with account and relationship servicing, day to day management, money movement and client retention. While assisting Trust Officers, the Associate will strive to provide unsurpassed client service, maintain excellent communication, help with relationship management, with heightened attention to details. The Associate will have knowledge of the wealth management industry as it relates to Trust administration and high-net-worth customer service. The TA also works with Trust Officer(s) to administer trust and estate accounts consistent with the terms of the account's governing document and Bank policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Support and collaborate with Trust and Estate Officers and the broader fiduciary team to ensure proper trust and/or estate administration in accordance with account documentation, applicable law and Texas Capital policies and procedures.

  • Perform trust and estate account maintenance, enter transactions, process remittances and distributions and support Trust Officer(s) requests for account service for beneficiaries and client account advisors.

  • Onboard new client relationships including compiling necessary documentation, completing required tests , new account applications, and AML requirements.

  • Responsible for understanding and overseeing the closing account process and the transfer of assets.

  • Process client requests related to all aspects of the trust and/or estate administration and promoting a client-focused experience for trust grantors, beneficiaries, and their advisors. Works along with Trust Officer(s) and specialized team members to resolve daily client needs.

  • Leverage experience and expertise for the preparation of Discretionary action matters.

  • Assist Trust Officer(s) with the annual administrative review process.

  • Communicate with tax department on a timely basis to help resolve any client or internal inquires.

  • Ensure adherence to all internal policies and compliance to legal and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-4 years of experience with a financial institution focusing on high-net-worth client service.

  • Minimum 1 year of trust and/or estate administration.

  • Solid attention to detail and accurate reporting within Texas Capital systems.

  • Effective team player with ability to work in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills both verbal and written.

  • Ability to manage competing priorities on concurrent projects and initiatives from multiple workstreams.

  • Efficient Salesforce and Microsoft Office skills including Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint to produce reports, flowcharts, correspondence, and presentations.
