The Client Relationship Manager will have the opportunity to be the primary sales role and advisor within the branch. This individual focus sales efforts with high value Consumer relationships as noted in the targeted segments.
Proactive sales efforts will include Small Business calls (within defined parameters), outbound sales calls by phone and in person, and attendance or hosting sales events. Using consultative sales skills and the UMB Advisory Process, the Client Relationship Manager will be responsible for increasing share of wallet/expanding customer relationships and growing book of business. A significant focus will be allocated to conducting client sessions, extracting client needs, providing financial counsel and establishing financial plans as a trusted advisor. The role also coordinates business partners and subject matter experts to meet client goals.
Additional sales efforts are performed in relation to insurance and investments. The role also performs servicing of accounts (opening and transacting), general account maintenance (requiring less than 5 minutes to complete) referencing customers to appropriate specialist roles (mortgage, private banking, small business). This position will also act as a leader in the branch as it relates to change management and advocating for the Consumer Services Strategy. Other duties as assigned.
