Mercer has an exciting opportunity available and is recruiting for a Client Portfolio Manager to work with our Delegated Clients.

What can you expect?

Oversee client servicing and relationship management for a specific group of delegated investment services clients (Defined Contribution, Defined Benefit, Not For Profit) including drafting of investment guidelines, development of marketing messages, portfolio trading, and asset allocation/portfolio structuring analyses.

Flexible on Location, the appropriate candidate may be located in any of the locations listed!

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Attend quarterly client meetings with a US national footprint, including making presentations to investment committees and introducing new investment strategies as initiated.

  • Provide internal and external support for a select group of delegated investment services clients that have customized portfolios and/or are primarily serviced by investment consultants; orchestrate changes in such client portfolios as required by serving as a critical link between investment consultants and the delegated investment services group.

  • Represent the delegated investment philosophy and processes at prospect meetings working with the Investments sales force.

  • Determine and lead the positioning of additional Mercer or MMC corporate solutions to expand existing delegated investment services relationships.

  • Assist with new client transitions including the coordination of asset management and trust/custody relationships to Mercer's platform.

What qualifications are necessary to have for the role?

  • 15+ years of related experience.

  • Bachelors, Masters or CFA preferred.

This position will lead business development for our water/ wastewater/ stormwater business in Georgia. This position requires a keen understanding of the Georgia market, specifically in Atlanta and the surrounding communities. The individual should understand state and local regulations as well as the current and potential market drivers for this area. The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to: * Implementation of AECOM's Water business development and growth strategies in the Greater Atlanta and Georgia area * Works with existing team to establish a strategy for continued growth * Identifies key resources in the marketplace to build a team for long term success * Serves as Client Services Manager for major clients. * Leads project manager, engineers, and technical staff in executing and delivering all AECOM Water Business Line services to identified key clients * Builds upon a culture of inclusions, diversity established in the Georgia Water Business * Fosters an environment of collaboration * Adheres to established project and safety principles * Ensures excellence in Project Management and Project Delivery * Incorporates AECOM's worldwide technical excellence and expertise into delivery of services for local clients * Key performance indicators: Safety, margin, Utilization, Staff Retention, and Growth Minimum Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or related engineering discipline * 10+ years of experience as PE/PM executing and managing delivery of consulting engineering services for municipal and county water/wastewater/stormwater utilities * Meet the minimum criteria to obtain Professional Engineer registration in the State of Georgia * Experience in the successful management of business financials for engineering and consulting contracts, specifically for municipal government agencies and clients * Team building experience and conflict resolution skills * Must possess a valid Driver's license and be able to drive rental vehicles on behalf of the company Preferred Qualifications * Master's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Business Administration, or related discipline * 5+ years' experience working in the metropolitan Atlanta area for water/wastewater/stormwater utilities * Ability to communicate and coordinate effectively with technicians, designers, engineers, project managers, and marketing specialists for the preparation of high-quality work products, including proposals * Must have strong verbal and written communication and listening skills * Ability to travel as needed What We Offer When you join AECOM, you become part of a company that is pioneering the future .
