What you'll be doing...

You'll be collaborating on large wireless security sales to our business customers that will help them keep their organization secure and run smoothly. You will be the technical expert on the sales team to support Verizon's full range of security services, focusing primarily on application, edge, and network layer security as well as software defined networking. Partnering with both internal and external teams, you will be the lynchpin in ensuring that our security solutions are meeting our customer's technical and business needs for the best solution and best customer experience.   • Be a leader amongst your peers in IT, cyber, and mobile security challenges faced by our enterprise customers today.

  • Effectively work with sales teams, support groups and partner teams to create sales strategies for your vertical

  • Shaping innovative solutions that address current and future customer needs.

  • Collaborating cross-functionally to deliver outcomes and provide field feedback to the security product and product marketing teams.

  • Building trusting relationships with internal and external customers, including C-Suite and CISO offices, to qualify security opportunities and drive those opportunities to closure.

  • Developing and providing expertise in all wireless offerings, products, and services, specifically technology and Verizon Business Solutions Store assets.

  • Providing security expertise to our most challenging and important accounts.

  • Presenting to all types of audiences at executive meetings, customer demos, trade shows, and Verizon Executive Briefings.

  • Supporting our customers through trials to help them choose our solution.

What we're looking for...

You enjoy creating novel solutions to the complex technical and security problems our customers face and leverage your technical expertise to ensure customers understand how Verizon and Verizon Partner Security Solutions will maximize their ability to protect sensitive data. You work collaboratively and are agile when customer needs change. You can take the complex technical stuff and talk to fellow techies and business users in ways they both understand.

You'll need to have:

  • A Bachelor's degree or four or more years of work experience.

  • Six or more years of relevant work experience.

  • Technical sales experience.

  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.

Even better if you have:

  • A Master's degree.

  • Security certification of any type

  • Management of complex technical and security sales and demonstrated follow-through.

  • A track record of building a sales pipeline and meeting targets.

  • Technology experience with WAN data communications, wireless networks, transmissions, and apps that use wireless technology.

  • Developed positive account relationships with some of the world's largest companies.

  • Excellent speaking and writing skills to convey complex solutions to all types of audiences.

This role will cover the Salt Lake City and Arizona markets and may require up to 30% domestic travel. The Sustainability Specialist is responsible for implementation and support of JJMDC reprocessing programs. This position will manage all aspects of the customer selling lifecycle through the promotion, supporting and servicing of the JJMDC reprocessing portfolio of solutions to new and existing customers. This position will work in cooperation with the Strategic Customer Group (SCG), JJMDC Operating Companies and Sustainability Field Service in developing and maintaining key strategic business relationships in alignment with Health Care Compliance Guidelines. * Responsible for enabling JJMDC value creation and growth at the account level via integrated OpCo reprocessing offerings, collection capabilities and overall J&J Sustainability messaging * Consult and support the SCG account management teams (DSA/ADSA) and OpCo selling organizations in the identification, planning, pursuit, execution of account-level reprocessing opportunities (conversion, carve-out, etc.) * Responsible for reprocessing program management; focused on collection efficiency, procurement process, buyer's efficiency, RPO staff education, conduct dep't business reviews and other critical value indicators at the account-level * Contributes to Sustainability Field Advisor continual account management efforts leveraging sustainability dashboard metrics (collections, savings, missed purchases, environmental impact, etc.) * Acquire and support the implementation of new BluFlex DVT account opportunities and manages current customers * Professionally promote medical device reprocessing and new solution offerings as they become available within the healthcare industry. * Execute the selling process in a manner that is concise, compliant, professional, ethical and persuasive; and which leads the customer to take action. * Oversee and execute the implementation and account development processes * Build excellent customer relations with key physicians and hospital personnel. * Understand account needs and the role that physicians, nurses, support staff and hospital administration play in the sales process to establish plans and solutions that meet short and long term needs. * Monitor hospital strategies and marketplace developments and communicate to business partners to develop account strategy. * Optimize customer savings by anticipating and/or recognizing account issues and then be able to create, communicate, implement and follow up on a corrective action plan. * Meet on a regular basis with hospital administrators, departmental directors and managers in order to review their saving results and explore opportunities for incremental savings by conveying the value proposition. * Demonstrate the ability to handle customer product questions and objections in a way that is consistent with sales training methodology. * Work with SCG partners and participate in the acquisition of new business opportunities. * Function as primary account owner by supporting the on-site technical support role. * Maintain and update account information and provide sales reports upon request by the Sustainability Field Advisor in order to assess the status of territory objectives, account activity and describe market trends and/or competitive activity. * Responsible for being a subject matter expert on sustainability solutions with knowledge of organizational resources available for account development such as Business Conduct Policy, HCC, and other J&J policies and procedures. * 25-30% overnight travel and daily local travel required * Commitment to building a positive culture * Other responsibilities may be assigned & not all responsibilities listed may be assigned * POLICIES: Know and follow Johnson & Johnson policies and procedures related to work activities performed in area of responsibility * TRAINING: Complete training in area of responsibility within allowed time-period.
