ADP is hiring a Human Resources Consultant. In this position, you'll be a trusted advisor to our clients, using your HR experience, ADP product expertise and consulting skills to solve their most critical business challenges.

  • Serve as an expert to customers supporting ADP's most complex products/technologies

  • Use specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise to service ADP's largest clients

  • Interpret internal or external business issues and recommend solutions/best practices to

  • ADP leadership and to clients

  • Solve client problems; taking a broad perspective to identify solutions

  • Work independently to resolve issues and provide solutions, with guidance in only the most complex situations

  • Share knowledge and best practices with less experienced Consultants and Specialists

  • Work proactively with clients to provide information, best practices and training on ADP solutions


  • Bachelor's degree required

  • At least 3 years of professional consulting experience or equivalent experience as a practitioner in a systems-related organization

  • At least 3 years of experience in a customer service or human resources environment, with proven ability to produce positive results

Preference will be given to candidates who have the following:

  • PHR/SPHR certification and/or Master's degree in relevant field

  • Strong client relationship and interpersonal skills.

  • Proven ability to lead conversations with executive-level client contacts.

  • Excellent analytical and time management skills.

  • Negotiation and problem solving skills.

  • Excellent communication skills - both verbal and written including strong skills in persuasion and motivation.

This hourly (non- exempt) position serves and supports each of the business units of First American Bank through the analysis of business needs and the development of technological business processes and systems. This position also requires the use of various scripting languages and development methodologies to assist in the effort to streamline departmental processes and deliver software solutions. Must have strong knowledge and experience in Microsoft Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate and Microsoft Suite related applications. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, modify and code software system programming applications. Correct programs according to the QA testing results within moderate complicated conditions. Test software and ensure that completed work correctly meets requirements, and is in accordance with agreed designs.Responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues relying on the established software systems. Research best practices and support the development of the solutions and recommendations for the current business operations. Research new tools, and be able to create Proof of Concepts based on project requirements.May provide data interpretation and help to produce ad hoc data and reports. Evaluate user needs, define technical problems, and work with engineering/development staff to determine solutions. Perform ongoing activities to maintain and enhance overall system functionality and implement solutions. Mentor and develop junior team members.Perform other duties as assigned by management. QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree, technical certification or qualifying work experience required.Minimum 2 years of work experience related to software development required. Previous banking industry experience is a plus. Strong verbal and written communication skills and good customer service skills with internal customers required. Must be able to communicate technical requirements and solutions to both technical and nontechnical users.Must be very detail-oriented and analytical in nature, with strong problem solving and decision making skills. Must have the ability to multitask and manage time effectively.Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is required. Conduct group presentations and meetings as needed.Strong technical skills including understanding of software development principles is required.VBA scripting experience, programming experience, or computer programming coursework is a plus. Must have an above average understanding of various Microsoft products, including, but not limited to: Visio, Excel, Word, SharePoint, and Dynamics 365. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform: Power BI, Power Apps, and Power Automate. Experienced with 3 or more of the following technologies: Team Foundation Server, K2, MySQL, Java, JavaScript, VBA Strong knowledge and competency of application development and software development life cycle is desired Strong knowledge and competency of SQL Server is desiredA strong desire to learn new technologies and work in a team environment.Some travel between Elk Grove and various branches is required.Typical schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Weekend or evening hours may occasionally be required depending upon business need.
