In this role you will provide the Statement Advantage product point of view on contract renewals and cross sales while presenting a One Fiserv engagement for shared clients with other business units within the company. You will meet goals for revenue growth and revenue retention. This will include working with a combination of our shared and largest clients to define and set strategic direction, renewal planning as a leader with vision and strategic business partner with client.Basic Qualifications for Consideration:

  • 5+ years of experience in the financial services industry or the print/mail industry

  • 5+ year of sales or account management experience

  • High School Diploma

  • Ability to travel up to 40%

Preferred Qualifications for Consideration:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field

  • A working knowledge of banks and financial institutions

  • Strong customer advocacy skills with client happiness being the main focus

  • Good interpersonal and presentation skills

  • Excellent written and oral interpersonal skills -- the ability to communicate effectively (clear, concise and expertly) with all levels internally and within the Client organization

  • The ability to review, interpret and implement contracts and service agreements in the course of maintaining the relationship with the client

  • Financial acumen needed to analyze and present ROI calculations for clients and to analyze and model client for use in price negotiations and contract renewals

In this role, you will:

  • Successfully attain goals, namely business development, retention, and client happiness.

  • Develop strategies for client success.

  • Develop account plans for each of their assigned accounts annually.

  • Maintain pipeline, forecast, and retain satisfied clients.

  • Develop a deep understanding of assigned clients that includes their business drivers and strategies, competitive position in the marketplace, industry trends, key strategic partner relationships, as well as key executives and decision makers, etc.

  • Build, improve and execute the long-term client relationships and communication at the C-level, with other key executives, key decision makers and influencers and act as a trusted advisor to senior executives within the client organization.

  • Build cooperation and collaboration with the Fiserv business units to realize revenue growth, client value and happiness.

  • Meet or exceed stated financial targets.

  • Manage, measure and accurately forecast financial outcomes.

  • Analyze and keep abreast of significant market changes (trends, issues, M&A activity and corporate developments) that would be valuable information to the client and that mitigates and manages risk to Fiserv and the client.

  • Participate in client site visits as needed

  • Partner with the Manager of Service Management and the Fiserv Client Partner to facilitate renewals as contracts approach maturity.

  • Identify add-on sales opportunities to bundle into renewals

  • Drive sales of additional solutions and new features with existing clients.

  • Partner with Product Management/Product Marketing to drive special pricing incentives and help socialize to Clients.

  • Cultivate, secure, and actively maintain Client References.

  • Serve as point of contact for the Client Partner to engage on add-on opportunities.

  • Support client visits and client conferences as needed.

  • Provide solution expertise to help accelerate new client sales.

Manages sales territory, trains distribution and handles quotes in order to maximize product sales. Able to consistently meet sales quotas in accordance with budgeted sales goals. Develops and shares an area of specialized sales expertise. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. * Uses persuasion, logic and product expertise to promote and sell twin screw pumps to end users, A&E accounts, distributors and representatives. * Maintains an up-to-date territory plan and works accordingly. * Performs specification work. * Conducts product information seminars for end users, A&E accounts, distributors and representatives. Assists distributors and representatives' sales personnel in making sales calls and securing orders for Engineered Valves. * Maintains up-to-date distributor/representative sales action plans and monitors progress towards goals. * Assists distributors and representatives in maintaining inventory levels consistent with company inventory policies. * Evaluates and make recommendations for establishing or terminating distributors and representatives. * Develops, hones and trains others in area(s) of specialized sales expertise. May be asked to train others in individual or group settings; or may be called upon to assist with special company projects which need such skills. Skills are identified and sponsored through Engineered Valves. * Performs administrative paperwork; writes reports and quotations to effectively perform sales function. * Provides regular forecasts of potential sales volumes in assigned territory. * Assists in conducting product and sales training programs. * Provides market and sales trend information to management. Skills and Experience EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Bachelor's degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business, Marketing, or a technical field is preferred. Three to five years of outside technical sales experience in industrial markets or a related industry is preferred. Channel management, food & beverage pump sales or related products or other capital equipment is preferred. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts necessary to perform essential duties. REASONING ABILITY Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
