The Client Director will be responsible for supporting and generating new business for a key strategic account of Service Now headquartered in San Jose, California. The Client Director will own the executive relationship management with the account, and lead the virtual teams in supporting the client, including Solution Consulting, Customer Success, Support and Professional Services.

What you get to do in this role:

The Client Director achieves sales quota for allocated account on a quarterly and annual basis by doing following activities:

  • Provides strategic leadership to client

  • Acts as the key relationship between client and ServiceNow

  • Collaborate with greater ServiceNow solution teams to develop and deliver a ServiceNow solution

  • Manages all Executive relationships between ServiceNow and the client

  • Builds trust & deep multi-tiered relationships through our client, from project/IT teams to CxO level

  • Aligns relationships between ServiceNow executives and the client

  • Manages expectations and builds capabilities within the client and with ServiceNow to ensure the customer experience is consistently World Class

  • Understands client business needs, and continually aligns engagement to new and existing business needs where ServiceNow can positively impact client satisfaction

  • Financial Performance

  • Achieve financial targets set out for the client including Licenses, Renewals & Professional Services

  • Develops win-win propositions for ServiceNow and the client to achieve growth targets Sales Management

  • Ensures appropriate technical alignment (pre and post sales) to enable the client

  • Partners with Professional Services and Support to ensure appropriate engagements are managed appropriately, from design, implementation to support

In order to be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

  • 15+ years experience in client management, and aligning account strategies to revenue opportunities

  • 7+ years experience as a Client Director or equivalent role with validated multi-million dollar sales solutions experience

  • Previous sales experience in IT Service Management, HR, Security Operations, Customer Service and IT Operations Management

  • Previous sales experience gained within software or IT sales organization

  • Demonstrable track record of achieving sales targets

  • Capable of leading virtual teams

  • Executive level relationship management

  • Commercially astute

  • Ability to understand the "bigger picture" and the business drivers around IT

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
