Job Responsibilities:

The Client and Technical Services Junior Analyst will help understand client requirements and help engage the global team in the fulfilment of these requirements, crafting client solutions based on the Welocalize Four Pillars of Customer Service, Quality, Innovation and Global Teamwork.

The ideal candidate is a driven but steady individual, capable of building relationships across the entire project team, with the flexibility and energy to thrive in a dynamic environment

Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned;

  • Responsible for initial data entry, monitoring, PO tracking and maintaining of a high volume of incoming project estimates and requests in our project management system

  • Ensuring that requests are expedited and assigned to the appropriate team member

  • Communicating project information to necessary parties in a clear, concise and professional manner.

  • Project pre-processing for TM/MT/Glossary leverage

  • Creating raw translation packages

  • Receiving and converting completed translation packages into proper output formats

  • Creation and collaborations with Language Engineering for maintenance of translation tool repositories with goals toward accuracy and efficiency

  • Translation Memory

  • Machine Translation

  • Cross department collaboration to ensure incoming assets are evaluated for completeness prior to production or engineered as needed

  • Assist with piloting new business SOPs and complying with existing ISO SOPs, annual ISO internal audits

  • Assist in obtaining departmental productivity targets and KPI's

  • Other administrative tasks as assigned

Key Qualifications

Experience and Education:

  • Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a college or university in related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Minimum 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Strong computer and technical skills, especially with Windows and MS Office 365

  • Good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to understand the client and company goals to help the team execute day-to-day work and provide creative solutions

  • Ability to remain calm during stressful situations and create and maintain a pleasant work environment
