We are seeking a talented individual to play a key role in representing outcomes and future product strategy.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work on an interdisciplinary team with engagement design, sales, and account management

  • Prepare and deliver insightful presentations and actionable recommendations and communicate complex material in layman's terms to educate customers on analytical findings and implications using storytelling and data visualization

  • Assemble and evaluate data such that new insights, solutions, and visualizations can be derived.

  • Develop a deep understanding of analytical needs in order to enable the customer data assets, keying and linking concepts to analyze internal and external health engagement data to create insights.

  • Must be able to demonstrate insight and creativity in the design and analysis of projects and interpretation

  • Conduct deep dives in current customer experiences by translating high level business problems into more specific questions which can be then be answered by data-driven analysis

Non-Essential Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ad-hoc reports and presentations documenting analytic methods and results.

  • Assign tasks and to assure projects are complete based on clients and business need.

  • Provide prioritization for work assignments.

  • Represent the team in meetings

  • Perform other functions as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to analyze information, using logic and processes to address work-related issues and problems.

  • Ability to create clear and concise documentation

  • Ability to work proficiently with Microsoft Office Suite, Tableau, and/or SQL.

  • Ability to prepare, cleanse, manipulate and analyze large databases.

  • Ability to demonstrate strong time management and project management skills.

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to be careful and thorough about detail.

  • Ability to meet deadline oriented project demands as well as manage multiple initiatives.

  • Ability to perform oral presentations with good quality.

  • Ability to perform well in an interdisciplinary team environment, with employees at all levels, to achieve business goals.

Work Conditions and Physical Demands:

  • Primarily sedentary work in a general office environment

  • Ability to communicate and exchange information

  • Ability to comprehend and interpret documents and data

  • Requires occasional standing, walking, lifting, and moving objects (up to 10 lbs.)

  • Requires manual dexterity to use computer, telephone and peripherals

  • May be required to work extended hours for special business needs

  • May be required to travel at least 10% of time based on business needs

Minimum Education:

  • The knowledge typically acquired during the course of attaining a Bachelor's degree in public health, business analytics, decision science or related field is required. A combination of education and experience may be used in lieu of a degree. Advanced degree preferred.

Minimum Related Work Experience:

  • 2-5 years of experience in consumer research, marketing analytics or business consulting roles using data and information to drive business and product strategy

  • Strong preference for candidates with experience working with healthcare data, quality reporting, financial analysis, market research, consumer engagement programs and/or consumer behavior analysis.

  • Demonstrated familiarity with Tableau, SQL and/or similar BI tools required.

  • Strong preference for healthcare related industry experience.

The ideal candidate has not only hands-on experience analyzing large-scale data sets but also demonstrated examples of translating data analyses into insights that drive transformational business outcomes. You'll collaborate with a team of dedicated analysts and partner with business stakeholders to evaluate market and clinical questions, design and implement analytical solutions and deliver actionable insights relating to clinical outcomes, market transformations, customer acquisition & retention, marketing efficacy and other related topics. Essential Responsibilities: * Establish and implement a strategy for gathering/managing data requirements and disseminating performance metrics & analytics across Abiomed * Partner with business stakeholders on projects to develop methodologies, reports and dashboards that provide business insight into leading indicators and provide recommendations that improve operations & enhance business decision making * Collaborate with Marketing, Clinical, Product owners and Market Analytics team through complex statistical models and quantitative analyses. Guides team on processes for selecting methods and techniques. Leads analyses and modeling when needed. * Drive project milestones to completion. Build partnerships, define accountability, and lead the activities which operationalize key findings. * Create reports and visualizations to fulfill requests from clinicians, researchers, and administrators using a variety of database and analytic technologies. * Develop tools, tests, and dashboard to enable implementation of insights. Supports testing, training, and development of new marketing initiatives. * Recommend, design and operationalize predictive & prescriptive analytic solutions in conjunction with team members * Ad-hoc analysis as required to aid management decision making and business planning * Create and deliver impactful presentations for mid-level and senior-level audiences * Model database needs based on project requirements and maintain data dictionaries and documentation associated with these data models.
