Responsibilities

A new position for Client Analytics Associate has opened in the Analytics department at BerkleyMed. The Client Analytics Associate plays a crucial role in the preparation, analysis, and delivery of analytical reports to BerkleyMed clients. With an expansive database of claims, BerkleyMed is the leading provider of data and analytics solutions in the industry, and the extensive use of analytics as a service is a key differentiator for our organization. These services assist hospitals across the country in identifying opportunities to improve the care they deliver to their patients.

This is an immediate opening, reporting to the Client Services Leader, who will oversee the position and set targets. This full-time role is based in Chesterfield, MO.

  • Understand client needs to identify potential analytical solutions

  • Utilize both traditional and advanced techniques to develop tools and/or reports that address client requests

  • Collaborate with other BerkleyMed functions to provide clients with well-rounded deliverables

  • Present and explain findings to clients in order to facilitate the effective use of the report

  • Prioritize incoming requests in support of client needs and timeframes

  • Recommend future service offerings in support of the acquisition and retention of clients

  • Assist with special projects as assigned to meet the needs of internal and external users

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Business Intelligence, Applied Analytics, or related field

  • 2+ years of experience in data analysis and reporting

  • Significant experience with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Advanced problem solving skills

  • Ability to manage day-to-day activities with limited supervision

Preferred

  • 2-5 years of experience in consulting or client services

  • Experience using Structure Query Language (SQL), preferably Microsoft

  • Experience using R, Python, or comparable statistical programming language

  • Working knowledge of insurance terminology

Position Summary: The Branch Client Service Associate is accountable for delivering high quality and efficient service to both internal and external clients by assisting with the Branch's overall workflow processes and providing routine client support. This role reports directly into either the Branch Client Service Management Manager or the Branch Client Service Supervisor. Supporting the business priories of Production team members and the Client Service function. This is an entry level position for an aviation insurance broker that finds insurance for aircraft owners. Processes work for 9 Client Service Managers which includes a lot of data entry. Answers phone and transfers calls. Adheres to efficiency/productivity and process standards such as data and documents requirements, timelines, tool usage, etc. Assists with the Branch's overall workflow processes. Creates documents, certificates, etc. using appropriate systems and resources, which may include communications, forms, certificates, reports, etc. Required: * High school diploma or GED * 1 years directly applicable experience. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office. * Basic Math skills. Desired: * Associate's degree, professional certification, or equivalent training and experience preferred. * Previous experience managing client relationships.
