We have an exciting opportunity to work for a leading firm as a Client Accountant in the Montgomery, AL, area This person will handle all accounting for their assigned book of business, which may include month-end, payroll, tax returns, reconciliations, financial statements, and bookkeeping Benefits and Extras:
Medical, Dental, 401K match, Long & Short-Term Disability, PTO, and more Compensation: $55 – 65K/year – open to candidates above the range whose experience exceeds the required minimums. What you’ll be doing: Prepare compiled financial statements, sales tax returns, and payroll returns.
Prepare and post general ledger transaction entries. Perform bank and account reconciliations. Process 1099s and W-2s.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients for their accounting needs. Cultivate strong relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and becoming their trusted advisor. What you’ll need to be considered:
Bachelor’s in Accounting required. 4 years of Accounting experience. Advanced Excel skills required. Strong experience with QuickBooks.
Excellent communication skills – interfacing with clients frequently. What could set you apart: CPA Certifications.
Experience in a high-volume environment – preferably Public or Multi-location Accounting background. INDACC NOM
