Client Accountant

CLIENT ACCOUNTANT

REPUTABLE AND OUTSTANDING CPA FIRM IS SEEKING A NEW MEMBER TO JOIN THEIR TEAM!!

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Excellent accounting and computer skills to provide accounting services to multiple small business clients.
• General ledger transaction entry and reconciliation
• Preparation of compiled financial statements, sales tax returns, and payroll returns; as well as 1099s and W-2s.
• Ability to have significant interaction with clients, dealing with day to day accounting matters as well as the unexpected issues and questions that arise – becoming a trusted advisor to their clients.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Accounting degree or equivalent experience
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new technology
• Proficiency in at least one accounting software (QuickBooks experience preferred); working knowledge of multiple accounting systems preferred
• Payroll experience, including experience processing multiple companies
