MDX Global, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Account Manager to join our growing Sales team at our Irvine, CA headquarters! This sales role focuses on prospecting and developing new clients, and managing their relationship, for our high-performance marketing & promotions company. Ideal candidates are seasoned sales professionals, self-motivated, excellent communicators and presenters, experienced in client prospecting and lead development, and resourceful in networking.


Prospect and acquire clients for our range of comprehensive brand growth strategies, and continue to manage and develop those new relationships. The depth of our experience and services for clients includes digital marketing, e-commerce and Amazon strategy, email campaigns, roadshows & demo/sales events, social media marketing, and recruiting & staffing services.


  • Proven sales experience, with negotiation and closing skills

  • Ability to identify sales opportunities in current and prospective clients

  • History of managing multiple accounts, while continually prospecting new clients

  • Enthusiastic, passionate and innovative

  • Possess existing and prospective client resources

  • Required minimum 2-3 yrs sales experience (within related industry, ideal)

Purpose of Position: To be the Account Management inside point of contact for agency partnerships for all service and technical support issues by region and agency tier. Communicate with agency contacts on a regular basis; developing a trusting/productive relationship with clients. Initiate development of standard operating procedures, action plans, implementation, customer service, sales service, and technical concerns. Works collaboratively to make informed decisions with all internal departments, specifically, GA Sales, GA Operations, Finance, and Choice Administrators. Essential Functions: * Develop and maintain positive working relationships in liaison role with internal contacts (such as underwriters, sales, compliance and service representatives) and client contacts * Develop, establish and maintain positive working relationships with Health Plan Account Management and/or Broker Services to meet or exceed goals * Maintain a high level of client experience satisfaction to ensure positive results from customer surveys and analyses * Act as liaison between agency and Health Plans in order to independently resolve all service requests. Specifically, assist the client in resolving billing, claim, eligibility, COBRA and customer service requests * Proficiently know marketplace; carriers, underwriting requirements & the benefits/services they offer * Conduct thorough Provider/Rx searches and network analyses * Provide regular feedback to Management Team about Account Management standard operating procedures (SOP) as well as SOP for special handling procedures for escalated or unique service requirements * Respond to inquiries from clients within timeframes assigned * Preparation of reports deemed necessary by Management and/or agency * Keep all information on accounts accurate and up to date * Preparation and scrubbing of ticket submissions via the Prepping queue. * Obtaining and preparation of renewals for Sales Staff. * Follow security protocols to ensure all data is secured and HIPAA compliant * Work closely with VP of Sales, RVPs, Sales Field Directors, VP of PMD, Director of Operations and Director of Compliance to identify internal and external market training needs * Proficiently know all internal and external systems related to Account Management, including but not limited to EaseCentral, MedID, Salesforce, Orion, and Health Plan website portals * Use Salesforce CRM or applicable systems to track incoming email activity via the General email queue * Onsite regular attendance and punctuality are essential functions of the job. * Performs any other task or functions as assigned. RequirementsKnowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: * • Some previous experience with public speaking. * Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Adobe and able to use multiple technology devices * Ability to perform duties in a high-pressured, fast-paced environment while maintaining a friendly, positive, and professional demeanor. * High degree of critical thinking, organizational and decision making skills as well as a high degree of initiative and attention to detail. * Ability to determine work priorities and remain flexible as needs and priorities change. * Professional telephone skills and etiquette. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Self-motivated and ability to work independently with limited supervision or within a group or team. * Ability to read, analyze and interpret industry policies and contract documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers or carriers. Ability to write professional letters to insured's and carriers. Ability to effectively present information to insured's and carriers. Excellent oral and written communication skills, command of the English language and bilingual Spanish would be preferred Training & Educational Requirements: * • Bachelor's degree preferred. High School diploma or equivalent is required. Prefer a minimum of four years related industry experience and/or training. * Knowledge of small group and large group underwriting rules * Healthcare accreditations preferred Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit for extended periods of time and occasional standing and walking. Must have adequate hearing for phone work. Vision requirements include close vision and the ability to adjust focus. Must be able to communicate effectively in English.
