General Re Life currently offers an excellent opportunity for a Client Account Administrator in our Portland, ME or Stamford, CT office.

Your Role

As part of the Operational team within the Life Health company, the Client Account Administrator role may encompass various functions including premium accounting, claims processing and other analysis for the accounts assigned. As a reinsurer, our client business partners are insurers or Third-Party Administrators ("TPA's) of insurance.

  • Processing of premium payments and statics through inhouse web-based processing system

  • Research issues; map client values to standard values by analyzing treaty to ensure accuracy of data mapped

  • Review, analyze, and present earnings, accruals, premium fluctuations, aged receivables and suspense amounts on a monthly basis

  • Communicate statement fluctuations or issues monthly and quarterly regarding client experience and products

  • Respond to internal and external client business partner inquiries

  • Interpret, manage and maintain treaty information in order to verify treaty terms, including premiums, conduct client audits which will include both internal desk and on-site client audits

  • Provide policy details and premium back-up support, as needed, for claims processing

  • Proactively liaise with cash, underwriting, claims, and other departments to ensure client queries and issues are resolved in a timely manner

  • Strong team player with the ability to build meaningful and productive relationships with clients and key partners within the company (e.g. Underwriting and New Business, Claims, IT, etc.).

  • Work on special projects as needed

Your Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business-related field

  • Strong working knowledge of Access, MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook

  • Strong Analytical skills

  • Strong customer service orientation for internal and external clients

  • Accuracy and attention to detail

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and deal effectively with multiple tasks

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

  • Ensures strict confidentiality of client information

  • Advanced PDF skills (create, edit, bookmark) preferred

EMS Software is looking for a full-time Senior Account Executive to join our growing team. The primary objective of the Account Executive is to maintain and grow our software solutions footprint in our target market. The successful candidate will be able to understand and identify industry trends, buyer personas, and buyer pain points, and they have the know-how to articulate exactly our software solution can address those needs. We're looking for a driven professional who will become a subject matter expert - of our product, their territory, as well as the buyer's journey. This role will be with our EMS product within the Higher Education industry. The EMS Software solutions manage, monitor and control every aspect of meeting rooms, classrooms, gathering spaces, and office hoteling through a single platform. This position reports directly to the VP, Sales and will be a remote opportunity. How you'll make a difference: * Exceed sales quote for assigned territory by establishing an account strategy that drives new revenue * Leverage a consultative sales approach to identify prospect needs and clearly communicate the value of EMS Software and how our solution functionality addresses those needs * Work with our Sales Development team to define and support prospecting efforts within assigned territory * Overcome customers' technical and business objections as necessary * Coordinate online or onsite product demos with pre-sales consultants to qualified prospects * Collaborate with Professional Services to evaluate training and consulting needs to support implementations * Prepare formal proposal and price quotes, coordinate with management on contract negotiations and gather necessary information and paperwork to process orders * Identify and relay to the business: client needs, industry trends, market perception, competitive intelligence, etc. What you bring to the table: * 5+ years of sales experience, with strong preference for those experienced with selling enterprise SaaS * Demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships (we'll look for a proven track record) * Willingness to travel to trade shows, regional roundtables and onsite prospect and/or client visits * Ability to manage a healthy and accurate pipeline * Understanding of financial terms, business processes and value selling * Experience with negotiation and customer-facing presentations * Proficiency with MS Office and CRM (e.g., Salesforce) * Preferred skills/experience: * Multi-million-dollar deal experience in the enterprise software space * Bachelor's degree Please Note: * This job requires up to 50% travel domestically. * This is a full-time, exempt opportunity. * Relocation will not be considered for this position as it is a remote role. * At this time, visa sponsorship is not available. * All job offers are contingent upon a successful background investigation and drug test.
