Job Title: Client Access Representative Float
Location: Sedalia, MO
Department: Client Access
Employment Type: Full-time
Job Summary: To perform complex/multiple clerical support functions within clinician office practices having a high volume of public contact where, due to the volume and type of services being provided, there exists the potential for highly stressful and challenging encounters. This position will be expected to float multiple clinic locations depending on where the need is within the region.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet clients, verify information, collect payments, schedule appointments
Handle scheduling issues like bumping, canceling, and no-shows
Resolve problems that occur during client visits
Prepare and maintain client health records
Manage cash handling and balancing
Verify and coordinate client referrals
Utilize electronic medical records system
Answer phones and direct calls
Manage stressful client encounters
Maintain waiting area appearance
Operate office equipment
Participate in service monitors and quality improvement
Provide excellent customer service
Qualifications:
Education: High school diploma or GED
Experience: Minimum 6 months customer service experience
Additional: Excellent communication, multi-tasking, typing, and computer skills. Flexibility to float to multiple locations. Reliable transportation.
