Position Overview
Working under immediate supervision a Warehouse Clerk will perform light administrative tasks to support the functions of the distribution center including but not limited to order management, receiving, shipping, inventory operations, and productions areas.
Essential Job Functions
Following established procedures and guidelines, they will maintain the organization of merchandise, collect data on inbound/outbound materials/merchandise, process routine orders for material/merchandise allocation and find ways to improve processes.
They may be responsible for confirming shipments in computer system and collecting tracking data, following orders from placement to delivery, using a computerized order processing/management system (DCS) to facilitate and release order to drivers and order pickers.
Maintains records of orders, prices, inventory, and related data under well-defined procedures.
Collect inventory quantities & variances, and bar code data of all assembled orders, package orders for shipment, and perform basic quality control for the process.
These activities may include answering telephones; updating stock cards and inventory records; and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.

Requirements
Education: High School or equivalent
Experience: 0 - 2 years experience in a distribution center and service operation.
Specialized Knowledge, Licenses, etc.: Experience with WMS a plus. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Working Conditions: Distribution Center. Ability to stand and walk for extended periods. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Other Skills/Abilities: Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices and procedures within the particular area. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
