Transportation Job Description

JOB SUMMARY / GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

This position is responsible for the multitude of daily administrative functions in the Transportation department. We work together as a team and we are looking for a teammate that not only adds to the success of our transportation department but that is responsible, respectful and reactive.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

A teammate in this position must:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent.

  • Be able to process a multitude of paperwork with accuracy and speed

  • Be able to interact with others.

  • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written).

  • Good planning and organizing skills

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks. AS400 experience preferred

  • Have good computer skills including Microsoft products.

  • Be flexible.

  • Ability to handle stressful situations

  • Be able to successfully pass a drug screen and criminal background check.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The environment encompasses all areas of a Distribution Center and Transportation Department.
