BASIC PURPOSE AND SCOPE OF POSITION

Assist with picking orders, conducting cycle counts, packing shipments, and receiving/putaway of inventory.This position may be cross-trained in operating equipment, but drives it less than 20% of the time.

PRINCIPAL

ACTIVITIES:This position

does the following in accordance with all applicable Federal, State and local

laws / regulations and the Company's policies, procedures and guidelines:

  • Pick orders using RF scanners to ensure that all orders and inventory are accurately tracked.

  • Inspect items to ensure there is no damage or missing parts, pack orders according to specifications, and prepare them to be shipped.

  • Execute goods, receipts, and putaway.

  • Route and process parts and whole goods received for inventory to ensure that parts and equipment are stocked in an orderly and concise manner.

  • Audit, verify, and maintain inventory to ensure appropriate quantities of stock.

  • Perform general housekeeping to keep warehouse as clean as possible.

  • Conduct mid-year & year-end cycle counts and inventory audits.

SPECIAL

PROJECTS

Making a list of items that are damaged, used or short parts that will be given to the warehouse manager for mid & year end scrap, to be considered by the corporate office.

MINIMUM

QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION, CERTIFICATIONS, AND TRAINING:

High school diploma or GED

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND:

  • Ability to use a computer and RF scanner.

  • Basic math skills.

  • Ability to select the most efficient and economical means for preparing shipments.

  • Experience with warehousing equipment including pallet jacks, stock chasers, reach trucks, order pickers, forklifts and other types of warehouse equipment preferred but not mandatory.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS:

Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.

The City Clerk is appointed by and reports to the City Council and oversees the day-to-day functional operations of agenda management, electronic records management, recording of deeds, administering oaths, receipt and processing of liability claims against the City, response to Public Records Act requests, and elections and political compliance programs of the City. The City Clerk is part of the City Management Team. The Clerk also serves the citizens of Lodi as an accessible and responsive representative of transparent and open government. The incumbent is expected to exercise independent judgment and initiative in establishing efficient and effective operations consistent with applicable laws, City policies and administrative guidelines. The Clerk must be well versed with regulatory and statutory election requirements. Providing proactive, accurate and timely advice to both elected officials and potential candidates is an essential aspect of this role. The successful candidate will have experience performing the full range of administrative duties common to a municipal City Clerk's Office as a City Clerk or Deputy City Clerk, and will have a combination of education and experience that has provided the knowledge, skills and abilities necessary for the City Clerk position. A typical way of obtaining the required qualifications is to possess an equivalent to graduation from high school; possession of an AA degree with major coursework in public administration, public policy or a closely related field and three years of administrative support duties in a public agency setting, which has included records management and the interpretation of laws and ordinances. Experience as outlined above may be substituted for the higher education on a year-for-year basis to a maximum of two years. A CMC or MMC is highly desirable. The salary for this position is $114,701 annually.
