Shift / Pay : 1st Shift hours, Monday through Friday. Weekly pay.

Objective: The position of MRO Clerk acts as a liaison and expediter between the Operations and Maintenance Teams, and vendors/contractors

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Creates and monitors purchase orders for accuracy and compliance, requests and receive price quotes from vendors, compare quotes against requirements and the budget, and generate purchase orders.

• Reconciles purchase orders, receiving and inventory discrepancies.

• Works with the vendors and the accounts payable to ensure receipts and payments are processed accurately.

• Performs inventory reviews, cycle counts and other activities with emphasis on accurate inventory and levels.

• Collaborates with other facilities to ensure corporate standardization occurs with vendors supplying MRO inventory, general production supplies and/or facility services.

• Conducts oneself and communicates, internally and externally, in a professional manner.

Schedules all the parts required for the work orders using SAP.

• Assures that safe work practices and company policies are followed.

• Purchases material to meet the quantity and quality of the organization's

• Tracks Inventory and restock when needed.

• Generates purchase orders for new products.

• Serves as point of contact for vendors and suppliers.

• Reviews invoices to ensure accuracy of goods delivered.

• Expedites material purchases as needed to ensure service levels are provided to internal and external customers.

• Performs other duties as assigned.
