Clerk II is a valuable member of our Patient Access Center Team who assists patients with scheduling appointments for healthcare services in the FQHCs. The Clerk answers incoming telephone calls and makes outreach calls to defined patients. Work is performed by prescribed policies and procedures. Responsibilities are performed at a proficient level thus lending support to the care teams.
To be successful in this role, we are looking for someone who must have excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and be able to navigate computer systems to make appointments accurately and efficiently. In addition, one must have excellent listening and decision-making skills to be able to route the caller to the appropriate individual for assistance. Also, possess the ability to work with diverse populations with various healthcare needs.
Scheduled Hours: 37.5 hours a week
At this time, you must reside in either Illinois or Wisconsin to work for the Lake County Health Department.
